3 recent flags but the Cats are nearly as broke as Brisbane. Why?

Hawks win yet again.
Not when it comes to mediocrity. :thumbsu:

We didn't need concessions either... that's what brought you main board heroes here in the first place. :thumbsu:

That's obvious... look at your membership numbers lately.

Is 72,000+ members a bad thing?

Your melting during those 12 straight was a sight to behold though. :thumbsu:

Was totally worth it though. Would not change how the rivalry has panned out. It's been perfect.

As will your disappearance fairly soon. :thumbsu:

Seriously, is this a threat that you are going to stab me or??

Not really. I'm content proving your comrade wrong when he suggested we'd only had 5 good years out of 50. :thumbsu:

Yet you still refuse to post those numbers.

Is it embarrassing that you gave us a 28 year head start but have still managed to be inept enough to have won 5 more spoons?

Another sore anoos over 63. :thumbsu:

Wasn't born then along with most people on this thread I would imagine. I was however around in 89 and 2008. Alot fresher even in your warped mind.

so the whorks
still need to sell home games, receive hand outs from the AFL and tax payer and be in the top bracket in revenue from pokes, renting a facility for $ person from the AFL
what is it 4 premierships in 8 years.
how will those whorks survive when the grand finals appearances stop, give it 5 or so years it will be merger talks again

What handouts do we receive from the AFL?

We own Waverley. We aren't renting it from the AFL.

Impressive isn't it :)
That's one way of putting it.

The hard part is remaining steadfast when you start losing. :thumbsu:

I'll make sure to remind you if you manage to stick around. :)

It is when you only had 30,000 just before 08.

Geelongs average attendance dropped by around 20 percent in 2015 on 2014 numbers and they were right in contention for the finals at the end of the h&a season. Bandwagon fans must be sensing another 40 years in the wilderness.
Similar to their membership numbers drop from 08/09.

Sorry, what?

When was the last time Geelong had more members than Hawthorn?

Ah, this old chestnut.

I already told you that I'll give that answer to a 'true' Hawthorn fan... you fail to qualify sorry, I told you that Mr 83. :)

Nope. Geelong finish higher than Freo you leave the bay for good... no aliases either.

If we meet in a final it's an account bet.

Same for A Cut Above, but he doesn't have nuts.
Is this bet offered on a first come, first served basis?

What's your side of the deal when Geelong finish below Freo? It has to be more than just you leaving the bay for good, because you're only a minnow in here anyway.

Unfortunately they have not drafted well in recent years so they have had to go and bring in mercenaries like Sam Blease, Hamish McIntosh, Jared Rivers, Patrick Dangerfield, Scott Selwood, Zac Smith, Cam Delaney, Lachie Henderson, the list goes on and on.

You're a pretty righteous man dancer aren't you...

Mummy told you that you were the most special little guy out there didn't she.

Lets stick to facts.

Hawthorn are a more successful club than Geelong because a) we have more premierships b) more more members c) make much more money which can only come down to the fact that we are a far better run organisation period

On top of that I am a far better bloke than you because a) Ive never stabbed anyone b) I barrack for Hawthorn

What are you on about? Can you answer please?

Surely Geelong has had more members than us at some point? We haven't always been a juggernaut.
I said a 'true' Hawthorn supporter... sorry, you miss out. :thumbsu:

Hodgey - what a Captain - Mooney said today on SEN

“I kicked two goals in the first quarter, but my respect for Luke Hodge after that day was enormous.

“This is the guy that went into a Grand Final with broken ribs.

“We knew that and from the word go I told him I was going to hit him in those ribs and I threatened him and belted him and every time I hit him he turned around and gave me a wink and a smile – and it frustrated me even more.

“He is the toughest player I’ve ever played against.”

At least the Geelong FC legends know Hodgeys status in the game.

Haha what? Are you implying I go for someone else?

You have legit lost it son.
No silly, I'm implying you're one of the 40,000.
