what the hell more was he supposed to do today?! He played a blinder gathering 28 touches 6 intercept marks playing HBF which is no easy role.

north are no easy beats either, they have improved drastically

You should see their board. No mention of the fact that they flooded our 50 - whilst criticizing our gamestyle -, and only mentioning their outs but not ours. Yes they were missing 3 very good players, but we were missing 6 - Atkins, O'Connor, Henderson, J. Cameron, Miers and Duncan. Fair bunch of decent players there

My vision of the game is still limited to the highlights.. One that got my attention though was the mark and goal by Cam Guthrie in the 1st I think, not for the goal but the interesting by-play between him and Danger. Danger runs to the goal line and Guth, 20m out, gives him a little dink pass for an easy goal as North had given it up. But Danger just decides to let it go through for a goal. Guth then seems to look a bit bemused as to why Danger would run there if he didn't want to score a goal himself! Those two have an interesting on field relation sometimes.. It was as if Guth is thinking, ok sure.. I'm point blank here but why not give the goal to the Brownlow medallist seeing as though he wants it so bad.. And Danger is thinking, I really gotta be a team player.. I really gotta be a team player. Let's show it by running to a good position. Oh, but hang on, I'm gonna look selfish if I get the goal here. I'm a team player. Let me magnanimously just shepherd this through! Lol

well it was an unusual moment.
I think the senior players, which includes Guthrie, try to bring Rohan into the game. He's a genuine game changer, so better for the team when he's engaged. Maybe there's a sense that Rohan is feeling a bit left out with the Triple Tower talk.
Anyway Rohan can be a barometer for the team, so good attitudes all around.
