Given Geelong fans were complaining about being given the 'Away' end for their cheersquad I wonder if they're complaining about it again this week as their cheersquad is the same end, or if they were complaining in the Qualifying and Prelimination Finals of last year that their cheersquad was the 'Away' end despite being the designated 'Home' side.

Dear AFL and Richmond Football Club,


I am writing to you to express my concern and disgust about what transpired last Friday night.


Before I write this email, I would like to point out I am a Geelong member- have been for over 20 years- and obviously have enjoyed a lot of success with Geelong and am in no way threatened by no means by other clubs success- or specifically the loss last Friday night. I won't even get into how unfair it was the game was played on the MCG- won't even mention it.


This email is more about the extreme aggression and intimidation displayed by the Richmond supporters and how they were allowed to get away with it.


Richmond FC- you are a shit stain of a club- to explicitly tell your supporters on twitter to "steal" our tickets last week smacks of desperation and nastiness. I wish you all the very worst luck in the finals from here on in.


AFL- and to allow the above to happen and then to disregard the overall safety and comfort of Geelong supporters on the night- shame on you. I've heard numerous calls on radio of swearing, yelling, harrassment, people being pushed and shoved and Richmond supporters constantly standing up during play. One was also told "they shouldnt have brought their kids here".


Is this the Soccer in England or the AFL in Australia?

Shame on both of you.
