As in Jack Graham, same bloke who played out three quarters of a prelim final with a dislocated shoulder and is best gut runner at the club.

Funny how developing players works.
Yeah that graham. The one whose always got a niggle, a strain or a corky that hes working his way back from until he gets another niggle or strain or corky.

what was that 5 seasons ago..?
Houli played a G.F with a busted calf- we still retired him.
great memory, but time to get over it
Exactly it’s current form that is important. Picking players for some courageous act they did five seasons ago is a team and coach killer. Always play your best 23 and hopefully fit.
On a similar note we may have the Squibinator Short Steps captaining our team this Sunday. Hopefully it will inspire him to lay one tackle, apply one pressure act and go up in a contest.

That was 5 years ago. Don't you think it's time he was picked on current form instead of what he did several years ago?

Actually, stratch that. Stupid question. McIntosh, Short and Pickett (when fully fit) all get the same rose coloured treatment.

What’s the record amount of hit-outs in a game? Darcy Cameron is a show to break the record against lead boots Ryan. It’ll be a bloodbath in the ruck.

I’m more interested in our VFL game this weekend…MUST. WIN…

Pickett and MRJ playing

Jagga playing ❤️❤️❤️

Thats actually as good a team ( on paper at least) that we've fielded all season.
Garner been our best mid for most of the season and they're putting him in the Back Pocket behind McAuliffe, Sonsie, Pickett and with Jagga on the interchange.
McAuliffe & Sonsie were actually playing really well together early in the season - want to see Sons regain some form.

I just read that flogwood have some injuries . They will beat us which will means they are back and can win the flag. regardless of the result they are very brave . Squibcos can do thinks that other players have never done in the history of the game and Pendels plays basketball.
But they will balance this by mentioning that Steely Green was named after his mother's favourite band and was struck by lightning.
And for no apparent reason they'll spend a bit of pre-game or half-time talking about how good Tom Stewart is.

I have a horrible feeling that we won't do any trades for decent picks, and we won't delist any premiership players if they want to continue. So next year, McIntosh, Short, Graham, Pickett, Broad and even Grimes will all roll around again.

I always think of the worst case scenario but some of these match selections, or to be more accurate, non-omissions, don't exactly fill me with confidence.
But we lose Rioli and Baker as added salt

The criticism wasn't off Jack Graham form it was of him complaining of injury and essentially being soft. Which I rightfully called out.

As for Grahams form he is the same player he was five years ago which is perfectly fine, the issue is we don't have the top end talent which makes fans blame the role players when the they should be blaming the guys who are paid like stars and simply aren't performing like they should be. Not the guys who can go out and perform their role week in week out whilst adhering to coaches instructions. Which is exactly what Graham has done this season with close to every game that he has finished this season he has finished with high teens possessions, 5 plus tackles and led the team for pressure acts. He is not in the team to get 25 touches a game, his role is far different to others who get a run in the midfield.

I am not a huge Graham fan for where we are at. But this post makes sense. The irony is that he probably gets traded or delisted before the next flag while we get the next A graders in the draft and then we will be looking to find role players like him to compliment the A graders.

Yep I noticed Wilson has been demoted to the bench and he has been smashing it in the midfield as well.

Jordan De Goey late out

This is what people responded to from you:

Your new excuse is still irrelevant as Graham hasn't progressed his game and as the game has got faster he's got slower and injuries have escalated. He's not a role player anymore, but a list clogger.

So when you say role players, you mean guys who rode the coattails of our stars?
Once said stars disappear, they are exposed.
Even given his limitations, he's nowhere near the player he was five or six years ago.
