Geelong - Too old, too slow?

Yes we never wanted them at home before that. That’s why we campaigned for, and got our first, at the conclusion of a run of 12-4 in finals matches. Because we’d never thought of it. Until then. When we started to lose regularly. That’s when we thought of it. After 115 years. That’s when we first contemplated it.
I'm not saying you'd never thought of it. I'm saying you'd never complained about it.

Flogs like this chap here assume Cats win all games KP and lose all away and make finals based on that
Despite offering facts that suggest otherwise they continue on
yup, exactly why we go 9-13 every year and still somehow make finals

Making it to the finals being "Mission Accomplished" for Geelong. Given you keep giving Scott new contracts.

And? Which coach that’s been sitting around twiddling his thumbs over the last 10 years was going to magically bring us this cavalcade of flags that we’ve supposedly missed out on purely because of our coach?

Make up your mind. Before it was the shape of our ground that was beating us in preliminary finals. Now it’s our coach. What’s next, the fluoride content of the GMHBA water?

I'm definitely not a Cats lover, and it seems we've built up a pretty decent rivalry lately given Geelong obliterated us about 117 times in a row before we finally burst their bubble in the 2017 finals and have seemingly had the wood over them in big games ever since. However I actually really admire their policy of perennially remaining relevant, and despite of the Tigers-Cats grudge, there's a fair chunk of me that wouldn't be overly shattered - if my own team weren't win the flag of course - if Geelong were to defy the critics of their "stay relevant" policy and win the flag. I have minimal respect for those who want their own club to bottom out solely to access the premium young talent in order to achieve ultimate success.

Slow yes, but so bloody well structured.
Yeah leg speed doesn't matter so much when you're extremely well structured and can move the ball itself quickly when it's your turn to go.

Their skill and movement on the spread last night was phenomenal. We get opened up alot as it is, but looked like a training drill for them. Also so we’ll setup behind the ball.

They need to cut there losses and bottom out when Selwood and Hawkins go. GMHBA is becoming a hinderance to their rebuild. Keeps them in contention but doesn’t let them finish bottom 4 where the good picks are.

This is because they get to train on their home ground unlike MCG tenants. So they get a massive advantage as they know that ground inside and out. Imagine we played H&A and finals games at punt road. People would say that’s unfair as well.
Why would that be unfair, it's your home ground?

My god the cats just don’t go away do they? They like hogging the top 4 spot only to then waste it in finals. It’s not even top 4 anymore just top 3 cause of them.

Nawww....:drunk:

GMHBA gets you top 4, then you get found out in finals because you’re not an actual top 4 quality side. You keep stuffing up everybody else’s premiership runs. Dogs could’ve won if they made top 4 instead of you. Better side than you during H&A.
