Channel 10 Footage above talks about Fagan hiring Cotchin as a leadership consultant to show the Lions how to beat teams like the Cats in finals. In fact, they value Trent’s input so much, they refuse to talk about it in public.

Geelong leading by three goals at half time, Brisbane turn the pressure on in the third and fourth quarters combined with slingshot quick footy and presto, what do you know, we have seen this movie before!

Here is Cam Reyner’s interview on Nine’s Footy Show today. Praising Cotchin’s role in teaching him how to impact moments in big games, like he did last night:

Picture of Cotchin at the MCG also last night, wearing the Lions uniform. Look at the radiance and happiness of that smile, says it all really!

Poor Geelong, Richmond are screwing you over even from their grave…

Geelong had a failure of a season and so did Richmond. it's as simple as that. The only difference is that we're likely to improve our list quicker from where we finished than you are
There are failures where you greatly exceed expectations, pull off numerous exciting wins, unearth half a dozen new exciting talents including the rising star, thump an opponent in a final interstate and miss the grand final berth by 2 mins.

And then there are failures where you lose almost every game of the season, your supporters (whats left of them) think its a good game if its not mathematically over at 3qtr time and your star player pretends to retire and then a month later signs with another bottom 4 team just so your club is left with nothing in return.

Wow this is how far tigers supporters have to reach to get something out of this season.

Seriously wow.

A failure is a failure. You can wrap it up anyway you like, spray it perfume and add some sparklers but in the end, its still a piece of sh.te. Two win away or twenty wins, your season is a failure unless you're holding the cup.

And there’s triumph, as in winning the comp, and there is triumph, as in ‘we won two games all year, and we are going to spend 24 hours living vicariously through another club who had a far better year than we did, losing the penultimate game of the year by 10 points and making out like our season was successful as a consequence.’

If you lose the prelim next year we can all triumph in seeing Geelong go back to back for once.

Your contention is that a rule change resulted in Richmond finishing last in 2024? LOL
Not true, but I could make an argument that it did if I wanted to. You know before we were emasculated we once beat Port in Adelaide without Cotchin, Reiwoldt, Rance, Martin and Houli, who else could do that? Our system was so good!
In 2010 the AFL orchestrated the move of the best player in the AFL from Geelong to Gold Coast. Did Geelong wallow? No, they proved they could win a premiership without Ablett.

Grow up and find something worthwhile to do instead of obsessing about Geelong. It is so tiresome
I'm not obsessed at all, far from it, the way I see it is that the Geelong supporters are here seeking the approval of the Richmond fans for their 2022 flag, why else would you be here?

When Geelong only finish 15 spots higher on the ladder than richmond then......

Tigers supporters count that as a good year.

Yep we are back in that 30 year period again.

Lol 1963 ring a bell. It took another 44 years to win another for the hapless cats. And here i thought 35 was bad lol.
At least for Richmond before those 35 years we won another 5 flags. Kind of feel spoilt 8 premierships in the last 57 years. Second most successful team in that time only behind the hawks.

Cats still on a paltry 4 flags from the past 60 years that's got to suck :tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:

You guys are currently vacant in September too 🤣

Its unbelievable how many clueless cats supporters we are dealing with here. Has anyone bothered to tell the scats supporters that they aren't in the GF, they have choked once again. No prizes for 2nd, or 3rd or 5th please someone tell them this is just simple logic to understand only ONE winner, one :trophy: everyone else gets SFA

the wooden spooner melts in here are warming my cold, dead heart just nicely

Haha we are happy as larry getting pick 1 and the other first rounders expecting to come our way.
Not one tiger supporter is concerned but we appreciate the scats concerns on the tiges landing the coveted spoon.

Its all you folks have but its kinda cute as a way to forget the pain of losing another prelim so keep em coming.
I get it well not really as we went 3 from 3 but choking once again must suck is it ever going to end, seems not as its now 6 chokes from 9 prelims but hey you do it just as good as the pies. The melts over your choke from your own fans is delicious 'special' as Bruce would say.

First time I’ve ever heard supporters insisting they are happy winning the spoon, actually imploring everyone to play along. And they are even trying to pretend they’re confused as to why no one believes them! Absolute nuffies lol

The fact that you don't get it says more about you. An ex tiger, ex tiger tormentor of the scats helps the lions in their quest which has paid dividends beating the scats and into the GF

Once again guess this time around you'll jerry on :tearsofjoy:

Brisbane has been calling on triple premiership captain Trent Cotchin, to help them. The former Tiger has been on call for the Lions leaders throughout the season, as they look to go one better than last year's grand final near miss

Cam Rayner on the impact Trent Cotchin has had on him in his time at Brisbane & overcoming quiet starts to games.
