Never seen a clubs supporter base so happy about finishing dead last and picking up draft picks. They simply dont care.Richmond fans are so accustomed to being losers than wining 2/23 games this year was palatable for them and they are over the moon about racking up draft picks losing games for the next 5 years minimum.
Richmond fans are acclimatized in the AFL era to low standards
That was 4 effing years ago. Your average ladder position over the past 4 years has been 13th. I cant even imagine what that is like.

It’s hard when you’ve never finished 13th or lower in your entire history, to be fair.
Yeah, making the finals 8/34 years must be a real winning experience for the club.
It’s just business as usual for them. 17-20 was an outlier in their AFL existence.
Winning temporarily sent them into almost a shock state. Now things are back to what they are used to.
It’s a bit like a poor person winning the lottery then blowing it all away on gambling.
Only Geelong supporters count finals appearances as a measure of success. The rest of the footy world only count flags...coming first loser or eighteenth loser still makes you a loser. Geelong is a like the fisherman who loves to count the ones 'who just got away' as catches - sorry finals appearances mean squat unless you actually win the big dance and Geelong have made an art of losing them.

Can’t wait to add him to the 5+ kids better than Holmes from this draft.

Standards you say yes we achieved a dynasty, 3 flags that's the highest standards that clubs strive for.
Of course we are accustomed to beating out bitches the GeeCHOKE cats in any era. 12 finals played and we have won 10.
And lets not forget the 2 GF's victories.
6 out of 9 prelim chokes Ouch. At least when we get there we win the damn thing.
GeeCHOKE Cats 1989, 1992, 1994,1995, 2008 and 2020 doing what they do best and thats choking
Don't worry you have a new contender trying to take your mantle the not so successful swans who seem to always be up there in home and away games but go to water in GF's. 2014, 2016, 2022, 2024

Is it true 3 players who finished in the top 5 of the BnF have all requested trades out of Spoonmond? That's a little concerning.
I know us tiger fans love it giving it to our GeeCHOKE bitches imagine carrying on about a spoon but losing to that team in 10 of 12 finals and 2 out of 3 GF's

Yeah it’s such a foreign concept for us. Usually approaching draft time we have a great hand but this year we don’t have a heap of high picks so we are all worried
