In the interests of keeping your back and forth shite fights out of match threads so normal people can talk.

Keep it clean and above the shorts
Off topic rubbish clogging up match threads will be moved here, knock yourselves out.

MCG is the gold standard for a ground. That’s why it’s called the home of football. If you didn’t go for Geelong you wouldn’t be saying this and you know it.
Codswallop- it’s a really good ground. Come down sometime and see how lovely footy is there.
You seem to have quite a few gaps in your knowledge.

Look at the Cotton On recruiting raid. It’s always the same story that ‘our stars take unders’. Now watch the narrative that Hawkins retirement has freed up all the cap room for this raid.

What stars?

Pick a side.

On one hand we get bashed all year because we don’t have enough good players, now we have two guys that want to come to Geelong. Like WANT to come to Geelong; we aren’t prising them out of another state, one was already on the outer at his club for starters, and suddenly we must have this huge list of stars and we must be doing something dodgy to squeeze in a couple of new players 😂😂😂

We have three legitimate, established stars left at the club. One is 34, and the other two will both be 32 when next season starts.

Our next best players are Max Holmes who is 22 and just signed a new contract BEFORE this season just gone, so more than likely for a bit less than what it would be worth now, through until he turns 26 at which point you would think it will rise significantly.

Stengle is the other, and he’s a small forward we got for nothing. Not exactly the type that’s going to command a million a season. He reportedly declined an offer from the Saints of $750k for an offer of $700k.

Do you really think this is remotely comparable to say, Carlton where they have prime Cripps, Walsh, Curnow, McKay, Weitering, Saad? All these guys are in the prime of their careers - not approaching it, not past it.

hahaha are you ok? Your posts are some of the more uneducated ones I've come across but I get this irate post of yours not being so bright and all 😂
again Chill out. You get way too emotional. You seem to have poor emotional regulation and intellect that can’t handle these threads and start abusing people out of frustration. Honestly I don’t think anyone can get halfway through your huge weird rants either

Interesting to see the Bailey Sniff and and Clayton Oliverdose heading to Geeline FC. Ecky Stengle should be able to introduce them to all the right people down there. :tearsofjoy:
Champs coming to geelong and Richmond BF winners leaving Richmond.

Says all about the culture differences

I reckon we’ll see 2 Geelong finals losses next year. Just thinking about it…
So another seasons of geelong looking forward to winning most weeks and enjoying watching our team play, and another season 27/35 to add to the failed Richmond seasons in the AFL.

Life is usual again.

Geelong winning as normal, and Richmond supporters content with their team sitting down the bottom of the ladder.

All is back to equilibrium

It wont happen, a real long shot re Oliver as he's on 1.3 mill with 6 years left on his contract. Dees fans want Holmes and a first rounder or 2 first rounders and another pick that's fair enough.

Bailey Smith good runner but soft as heck.

Jack martin lol 30 and so injury prone.

The $1.3m for Clarry Oliverdose not an issue. Last time we checked with the CFL Geeline FC had $112million free space in their $17m cap. 🤣 Speaking of caps, no shortage of that down there e ither.
