In 2025 do you think Geelong earn more from a 40k crowd at GMHBA or a 50-70k home MCG game? If the latter pays less then it's a financial handicap to host a game at the G, thus worse than break even relative to a standard home game.

Apologies, poster never mentioned in comparison to playing the games at Geelong, just said that was the break even number at the MCG. But now I know the context I can accept the notion.

It’s understandable - dominate a team for the best part of twenty five years and in amongst that you lose three finals to them in each Premiership year, two of them costing you certain flags and each final more heart breaking than the last.
