I will say our draft haul from last year is looking promising. There's still a bit of size needed but there's no complaints so far.

Stephens disposals highest on ground - are they sideways handballs?Defence has been very leaky. SteVen's playing high, missed a couple of shots on goals. He is very vocal. Confident. Looks a player. All others in Defence are VFL listed I think.
Dempsey is a highlight real about 18 months away. His first mark on the chest from a Steven's swerving torp was class. Almost knocked him over. Good set shot , gets out of trouble. Just need the hanger. You can see him lining up....
Knevitt probably the best so far. Very good mark, took two in first quarter on in front of the pack and the second in the middle of the pack.Clean, nice kick. Good running goal.
Stephen's working his way in to it. Saving himself for big second half?
Cooper Whyte close but no choccies yet. Looks much more an inside mid than a flanker. Some still to do today.
I thought Abbott best ruck on ground so far.
Reckon there's a good chance this is the case by end of year.I've seen enough - Neale should be getting a game over Rat right now.
He may not be fully-developed in body, skills, or game sense but damn, he looks promising. Great body work to kick his third goal.

Where have they deployed Whyte? Seems he isn't in the middle based on his stat sheet and they have flagged trying to get him to develop a second position to shoehorn him into the seniors
I wasn't impressed by Dempsey last week... but damn, this guy's got some tricks. Great evasive skills, has almost taken some speccies, and has kicked 3 goals on top of that.

Only his third game. And you can already see that it won't be a lack of the necessary skill that will hold him back from having a career. That finish off a step and that leap in the ruck down back show more than enough of what this kid has got. Once he builds his body and his tank (and the speccies start sticking), look out!Dempsey is a gun
