I think they've finally give up for the season

Though I'm curious what happens come season's end and news of him being delisted comes out

Edit - I did see someone on FB say as should get him in for the prelim (not sure if serious though)
We are still here waiting for his Grand Final debut.

That's much better than I thought from Mitch

We are gonna miss his 30+ each week in the VFL next year for sure.

Maybe the umpires weren’t swayed by Hardie’s season either…

Hardie was on 7 votes after round 5, and has earned himself only another 7 votes across the next 12 rounds

Dempsey got same votes last year (14) playing 12 full games (other 2 he left at half time). In a team that didn’t win a huge amount of games.

Not to downplay Hardie’s year - he should be proud of coming from SANFL to show he can compete in VFL. But maybe shows that to make transition to AFL just need to have more impactful games rather than just be a strong consistent player

Big George top 10 is ahead of my expectations

It has been reported we've offered him a contract - the delay could be whether it's a direct promotion to the senior list this year or a third year on the rookie list

Maybe he is already on the senior list? The club did never announce which one of him or mullin got promoted last year.

I'm sure we've offered him a deal I just think if he hasn't accepted it this late in the year it indicates another club is involved otherwise he surely would have signed it already.

He's ooc so he's leaving it late to sign. Could be WB?
Hope he stays - adds grunt and while not a high ceiling you never die wondering about his effort.

Team needs playes like that and after the PF a few could take notice of that style.
