I think the type of organisation that would tolerate and hide adulterous executive decision makers who are willing to selfishly betray the promises they have made to their families is exactly the type of organisation that is willing to orchestrate and manipulate a coverup of systemic doping.

In both cases it has taken individuals stepping outside of the normal channels in order to get the afl to demonstrate, however reluctantly, integrity. I'm not surprised.

It speaks to character. And in the case of the afl it speaks poorly.

Dangerfield last week was the classic junior footy act.
He was struggling to have an impact, then got "injured," much like how juniors pull a hammy when chasing a faster player - only to recover after 10 seconds

He had no issue walking or running when he miraculously returned, but if he got beaten to a contest, he would start hobbling
