Hmm, whole thing seems odd to me. I mean a couple of years ago he wanted to go home now he's prepared to play for a basket case club back over here just for a few extra dollars. Am I missing something?
I dont think its just a few extra dollars over the contract it would be a few extra mill guaranteed even if injured
Probably also needed to pick a club that could get the deal done as he had 2 years left on his contract with the Dockers.
The Saints paid a lot for him in $$ and in trade.

Because Rough is there? By the way, I can understand Rough going to St Kilda, there are far fewer coaching jobs so you would take anything that fitted your requirements. Playing for a team is different. Did Hill get paid mega bucks by Freo?
Edit: Just saw OTC's comments re Hill's pay at Freo compared to what he is getting at the Saints.

I have a relo who was hanging with saints players this year. All reports...they know how to pardy hardy.
The best part was after a game at marvel this year said relo recieves call from player asking why he isnt down in the rooms.

Probably 3 or so reasons that I can think of as to why Bradley made this choice
1. Bradley already has 3 premierships so playing for St. Kilda isn't that much of an issue.
2. Obviously 900k x 6 is an absolute massive amount of money.
3. In the next 5 or so years 5-6 clubs are currently better placed than us to win flags, so if he came to us on less every chance he doesn't add to his tally anyways, it's not like he's joining Hawthorn 2014.

Yeah it was rumoured Cyril was going to fly Lewis, Hodge and Rough up for a fishing trip and slip on the boots too. Might still happen deeper into the wet season though
