Subconscious psychological bias due to the blue in their jumper? I know it sounds ridiculous but for the past 20 years, Dogs, North, Blue, WC have always being the top of the free kicks list, with Geelong not far behind.

I posted this once before and it was suggested by another poster that the same thing has been discussed is the soccer world, with teams wearing blue supposedly more likely to be awarded penalties than non (tho I’ve not fact checked this).
I suspect I may have been the other poster, but I have no idea where to find that convo

I'm ready to believe you.

Yes, it was a few years ago. Blue jumpers and home games got more penalties, IIRC the home game effect wasn't universal and there was discussion if crowd noise was the determining factor in home games. Can't remember which thread.

More chance of being at gws next year 😉

I think Leon Cameron has a secret stash of photos because there’s just no explanation as to how he still has a job after all these years

I’m told that at a function where Clarko was speaking, he light heartedly said he hoped to turn his Tassie consultancy into a coaching gig

Surely that’s years off
You would think more footy manager than coach - maybe he could be the next Balme around the clubs

It’s hard to believe that we get beaten by GC

They are an awful team and if Dew isn’t replaced by Clarkson next year I’m going to be gobsmacked

Is the crowd hiding somewhere? In all the discussion about whether Tassie will have a viable team, these ‘clubs’ are 10 years in

I’d be nervous if I was Hinkley

They should all be nervous. I just think the appeal of taking a talented list to a flag in a short period coupled with gws being an expansion team would see him more likely go to gws. The afl want them to succeed much more than gc. Much more money at stake.

Cats look like the die at the back end up halves and last quarters, send them to the corio retirement village

When you look at age profiles it shouldn't come as a surprise seeing Collingwood do well. They have an average age around 25.3 for tonight's 22 in comparison we are sitting at 23.8.
