Exactly. Besides, Clarko is a Hawk. Loves the club. Melbourne was his second club as a player and I reckon he has been a hawk longer than he ever was a demon.

I reckon Clarko is raptured to be at Hawthorn. His mentor is John Kennedy Snr (first coach) and he is just proud to be able to be part of the Kennedy/Hawks history. He aims to be another legend of this club.

I know David King comes across as an "expert"(and a knowall) on structures,game plans etc, but he is good in those areas.I would like to see him at our club, he has a pretty good idea of how/what our club could do, to improve. Does anyone think he would be a good pick up as an assistant coach. Maybe Clarko wouldn't tolerate his advise..

He got burnt when he was at Richmond as an assistant coach to Terry. From reports he isn't the brightest spark but he knows a fair bit on footy. Still I think there are a lot better options out there as assistants.

I saw on a couple of the other club boards that they have a dedicated thread for Contract Status.​

Any chance we can set up a similar thread, which is not for general discussion, but for posting announcements of contract renewals (incl weblinks to the announcement) etc, and also keeping a master record of current contract expiry dates for HFC players.​

I would post it myself, but I think it should be setup and managed by the mods so it doesnt become a general discussion thread.

If you'd to research and post it, I'll sticky it and lock it as required. A noticeboard thread rather than a dicussion?

I didnt want to speculate, so I only posted information if I could find a valid source to confirm the contract expiry. I suspect the links will tidy up with the new View Attachment formatting. Can you make the Puopolo video link into a View Attachment link also.
The first thread is intended to be a contract summary listing. You can use the thread to post contract announcements as replies to the thread, or just update the link against the respective players. I am sure a thread will be created on Hawthorn board for general discussion as contract announcements are made. Entirely upto the mods how the thread is managed. I have done the groundwork, the rest is upto you guys.
