Stanley slings - play on.

Not 10 second later, Stengle is slung - free kick.

Not disputing the kicks, but it's an almost suspiciously common occurrence for Geelong to give a free kick that's kick missed, and then get one.

The pussycats are the darlings of the AFL.

My question is how many weeks Stanley will get, and then how many will Rotham get for that sling tackle (which has actually caused an injury)?

Will be eagerly awaiting the outcome on that one... must be 1 week minimum for Stanley and 3 weeks minimum for Rotham given the actions and outcomes.

He'll be in the cell next to Will Day I'd imagine.

Yeesh looking at the WC v Geelong game, after finishing our Box Hill game.

Yikes, this is ugly. At least our boys fought hard for a half. Weagles young lads are lost at sea.

Their injuries have exposed their very soft underbelly, they look in dire need of a rebuild like us at this rate, despite the injuries. The injuries hit a lot of their 30+ players, so it's almost a preview of things to come. Their list is in a tricky state.

Don't want to be too harsh, as any list hit with this many injuries would struggle to be fair.

Last 5 goals to the Weagles....the comeback is on, lets go!

West Coast were much more competitive against Geelong than we were in the end
Or cats put the cue away

The exact comment was made last week
If we play the first quarter in the last, then the commentary is that cats had already gone home

Cats beat us by 82, 32 shots to 15.

They beat WCE by 47 when they were missing three of their best five players, 31 shots to 24.

Not really buying the cue in the rack argument given our game was done at 3QT and they could have coasted then.

Cats were winless and walking over an arch enemy. Why would they stop last week.

Do Eagles own their picks for this season

I believe so. They also have two extra picks from Port Adelaide as part of the JHF and Rioli trades.

So in 2023 hawks play 23 games for only 3 in Melbourne.

Can someone please reassure me this won’t repeat for 3 years?
I’m do you mean only 3 home games in Melbourne before bye? (There are more than 3 Melbourne games even just home games over whole year)
