How good is Tim English. Great in the ruck and basically an extra midfielder at the contest.

I always chuckle when I see this or see him playing really well and impacting.

When it wasn't too many seasons ago BF posters were queuing up to say how terrible he was and that he was effectively like playing one short. I even remember thinking myself "Why would you blow a first rounder on a ruckman? Way too much time and risk before you know." And here we are

He must've recently had his 24 and 285 day birthday?

The issue with English was his toughness and lack of physicality. He was always a supreme athlete for a ruckman and had shown the ability to find the ball from year two.

Midfield is unreal and forward line is looking really good with Naughton + Lobb + Weightman + Ugle Hagan.

Whilst I agree, Meek was a big part of the return.

Meek has already been dropped and freo has our second whilst we kept dogs.

Looking at the Bont tonight and then looking at how Day's stats so far this season as a midfielder compare to the Bont at the same age makes me feel even more excited by what we could potentially see from Day over the next few years.
