Just goes to show what a shit coach Cameron was.
He had Cameron, Whitfield, Kelly, Coniglio, etc a did SFA with them all.
Very true. Unlike GC, the Giants recruited well and developed players properly. Their failure to win a flag with the group they put together rests with Cameron.
GC on the other hand is just a shithouse club that was built on a foundation of selfish mercenary leaders from the get go. While their coaches all failed, there have been deeper problems there. As I write this, King kicked another. We need to get him out of that wasteland.

He’s been heavily tagged while other players have been allowed to run free yet for the pies he still ended up top 3 disposals in each game no.1 in clearances for both games as well as top 3 contested possessions.
Was a whisker away from kicking 3 goals last night and had the most score involvements.
He’s still learning to deal with a tag and constantly win the hard ball.
But is the type who looks like he will tear finals apart.

I don't like them because of the flag they were gifted. Played 27 players in each of the 4 weeks of the 2016 finals series.

That would have to apply to Ross as well. Cameron had GWS at the pointy end for quite a few seasons. It just goes to show how hard it is to win one.

Cameron had them at the pointy end for like 2 or 3 seasons, and that was with Jeremy Cameron and Phil Davis as bookends, plus a peak Ward and Dylan Shiel to add to the others. The fact he couldn't win anything with those blokes + the others is an indictment.
Nah, Ross coached sides at two clubs to 3 grand finals. In one Tom Hawkins was awarded a goal that was point, the next was a draw and in the third his team kicked like drunks for goal. Ross is a prick but none of that was on him. Hes an unlucky prick.
Cameron was a poor coach.

No, he actually had ZERO kick in play-ons, which are the kick-ins that are counted as possessions. Therefore none of his 27 touches were due to kick-ins.
He also has zero non play-on kick-ins, not that this matters as it wouldn't count towards his possession tally anyway.

Exactly. I have never said he is not an amazing player (except early days when he'd turned over three kicks in a row with no pressure.). I have only ever talked about the hype being bigger than the player which is clearly true. But 3 votes C Judd.
