Moore has had 21 more kick ins that Daicos since the beginning of 2021, and Daicos didn't play in one of those seasons. Daicos has also played on out of the square in 100% of those kick ins.
Kick Ins 2023
Moore 73 and 71 he played on
Daicos 50 and 50 played on

Moore has taken more kick ins this season and his play on percentage is 97% compared to Daicos 100%

Even if you want to take Daicos' kick ins away from him he is averaging 29.9 disposals a game. The kid is a freak and to say his stats are padded this year because he has taken some kick ins is just wrong.

Is it bashing to say he's amazing at what he does well, but has glaring weaknesses?
Buddy has been a terrible lockdown defender his whole career.

I think the criticism of a Daicos has been ridiculous. He's being grilled because he didn't put in a match-winning performance like he has in most of Collingwood's wins. The criticism of him has been that he gets cheap touched, which is undoubtedly true. But that doesn't preclude him from having damaging ones as well. I'll follow Sam Mitchell's view on this, he is one-of-a-kind.

Cameron had them at the pointy end for like 2 or 3 seasons, and that was with Jeremy Cameron and Phil Davis as bookends, plus a peak Ward and Dylan Shiel to add to the others. The fact he couldn't win anything with those blokes + the others is an indictment.

Not only on Cameron but on the board for continually renewing his contract

He's brilliant at running it out of defense though, especially being chased by Hooker.

It's been funny to see people in the media talking up Geelong after every win. Eventual premiers don't have multiple losing streaks within the season. Just doesn't happen. Like the Tigers the last few years, their best is unbelievable, but they bring it about once per month. No chance for the flag.

Anyone else feel that Collingwood and Port may have peaked too early? Both are faltering a bit now and this is usually when you start to see the premiership favourites separate themselves from the pack. Carlton and GWS may have hit a rich vein of form at just the right part of the year.

Port definitely.

I think Collingwood will be fine.

Port's depth, or absence of it, is about to be tested right now.

Exactly. I have never said he is not an amazing player (except early days when he'd turned over three kicks in a row with no pressure.). I have only ever talked about the hype being bigger than the player which is clearly true. But 3 votes C Judd.

So a second year player who averages 33 touches, 20 pressure acts, 7 score assists, roughly 500m gained per game as well as winning a third of his touches in the contest with 4 clearances and tackles per game - with 17 goals to boot isn’t worthy of hype? Honestly the way some people want to tall poppy this kid because he doesn’t play for Hawthorn is mind boggling.

If you can’t hype up a kid playing as good as he is then exactly who are we allowed to hype up?

And you almost always chime in with your ‘oh but the kick ins!!!’ when people talk the kid up so it’s kind of silly to pretend you aren’t trying to talk him down when people rightly call you on your incorrect and inane stats to somehow dispel that he’s an imense talent.

Again you like to belittle and bully posters here if they don’t have 100% accuracy with English, maybe wear it when you’re wrong for once? Speaking as someone who also likes to take the proverbial out of people’s mistakes here I’ll still gladly cop it when I get it wrong.

Like us in 2012 - you don’t want to play your best footy in the middle of the year. Will be an incredibly even finals series for mine where almost any side could win on the day*.

*except St Kilda.

Both are looking pretty banged up at the moment.

They look like they need a rest and reset before hitting the finals running. They both look like teams doing extra sessions during the week but being completely gassed when the first quarter rolls around.

Collingwood are doing themselves no favours needing to play to the death almost every difficult game. Not being able to take your foot off the pedal is tiring.

If they reset before finals they will be alright. They can’t keep going as they are though.

The pre finals bye might give them the biggest advantage it has for any team since the dogs.

I swear Taylor Walker was never this good
