Yeah I'm with you, don't find it funny at all. This is coming from someone who hates the Crows with a passion.

Maybe I could find it a little funny if there was a strong rivarly between Adelaide and Geelong as that may make some sense to use the opportunity to take a dig at them, but this just falls flat humour wise. Strange choice.

And I think when you miss finals the time has come to pull your head in a bit, especially if your captain walked away from the club you are choosing to rib. It has a whiff of kicking someone when they are down for no particular reason. These things can come back to haunt you down the track. Here’s hoping it does!!!

To be fair Myers seems like a decent guy and handled the whole Whateley / Messi gag with good humour . Not his fault a couple fanboys in the media were running with this nonsense. He had a good year as a role player but nowhere near AA

From what i've seen, that is where the squiggle places teams after the grand final. The premier this year will most likely be in that zone by October.

If you do the live replay of previous years you'll find that when it's like this there will be a couple that start to move into that zone by the time the GF rocks around.

Also interesting that it's our defence rating that has improved from round 1 when the narrative around the Hawks has been that we've focused on an attacking run and gun play style.

Pretty obvious early in the year that we didn't have the transitional defence going compared to late in the year
