Third one? First one is chefs kiss worthy. The third one is
What are these examples of?Second one arguably a free kick ?
He was off for sure but those examples pretty rough
The other part of that equation is who are their best 5?Posted this in the “next club to fall off the cliff” thread a couple of months back. Pies fans didn’t like it, but it’s not looking good for them.
Collingwood are the oldest list in the comp and have 1 player under 28 from the top 10 in the draft on their list. If we push it out to Top 15, they have 2.
We all know Nick Daicos is a supreme talent, but he's going to need more help to fill the void left by the older heads as they leave or decline.
Geelong, who are second oldest, have 2 under 28 from the top 10, but 4 from the Top 15.
Melbourne 3rd oldest list. 3 top 10 picks under 28, and 6 top 15.
I won't go too deep on Brisbane, because they're likely to have 3 number 1 picks on their list by the end of 2024.
Looking at Carlton, they're 6th oldest, 6 top 10 picks under 28 and 9 top 15 picks.
Other Collingwood posters have already conceded that their list manager has a bit of work to do in the next 1-2 years to replace Pendlebury, Cox, Sidebottom, Elliot, Howe Mitchell, Mihocek etc.
It's really not that surprising of a take to say "old players need to be replaced with quality, or you'll dip down".
Yep. And their second is tied to us.They coughed up a first for Schultz? Oof. Well played Freo.
They did. Freo always ask for the world. They coughed up a first for Schultz? Oof. Well played Freo.
Getting Pick 2 (Brayshaw) for Lachie Weller was such as massive steal. AFL should have folded GC right there and then for that. They did. Freo always ask for the world.
Loves those diving handballs. I don't know why players do it. Keeps them out of the next play and I'm quite sure it doesn't make the handball go any further or more accurately.Goes to ground a lot too
He's cooked. But he's got a few mates.Just picking up on SYL's earlier post.
Tom Mitchell going to ground at every opportunity is synonymous with a player who'd leg speed is gone.
(not that it was ever his strong suit)
Still knows how to get the ball inside but struggles to do anything when he gets it.
The cliff is very steep at the end and he looks like a player clinging on by the fingernails.
I'm surprised he wasn't subbed off. They were playing him off a HFF for a lot of the time and he just wasn't contributing. He's cooked. But he's got a few mates.
Sidey, Pendles, Cox, Crisp, WHE, Howe, should all hang em up.
Very steep cliff.
Yup, said at the time we should reached, saints recent drafting is top tier
(Not to say we just need some patients)
