They certainly aren't defending now.I dont think North can keep this up ling term anyway . It looks great with minimal pressure on the quick track .
They havent really had to defend ..........yet
Take Hawkins out and see how they'd have gone over the last 17 years. They got him under FS when they already had been given two legends under that system. The odds of Taft must be millions to one. He was exactly the ingredient they needed and couldn't provide otherwise (Podsiadly was their best next option and he lasted three seasons). They simply could not have replaced Hawkins if they had had to find a KPF under normal means. We know all the good KPFs because they were already in the system and there simply isn't an equivalent GEEL could have secured had he not been gifted to them. He plays nearly every game and he plays for unders which allows them to bring in and pay extra quality players. They deserve nearly as much respect as a club that gave them a 28 year headstart and yet still has more Premierships than they do.
Can you guess the club I am talking about?
And they got two end of first round picks for THIS year of course when it is quite possible they are already better than us!Let’s stop talking about the shinboners because right now they have more upside than the gut rot we are putting out on the park.
Today was wind the clock back utter garbage of clarkos early years.
The game plan should be torn to shreds immediately and if Mitchell is instructing our players to play that crap he needs to be held accountable.
Take away one of the best coach in the league and see how they go!Take Hawkins out and see how they'd have gone over the last 17 years. Then they get Dangerfield, who was the best player in the comp when he transferred across. He's an ex Geelong Falcon from Moggs creek and he wanted to go home. No other club has that advantage.
And their old guys generally don't seem to fall off the cliff like older players elsewhere. Don't know how they manage that.
Geelong will monitor every kid from the Falcons and be nibbling at them to come home if they show any signs of being good. That's how the got Ollie Henry, among many others.
And they have the best home ground advantage in the league.
They are a very well run club obviously but take Hawkins and Dangerfield and Scarlett and Ablett out, all of whom were gifts, and their ability to stay competitive would be severely tested.
B Scott brought the niggle from north when he was there. Still only 20% the north niggle thoughAlways thought of the Scum as a bunch of dirty snipers, but they're barely trying to hide it anymore. Hope Sydney absolutely smash them in the second half.
Are you talking about Chris Scott? His brother is a better coach. Agree with everything else you say though.Take away one of the best coach in the league and see how they go!
Take away the best recruitment team who find players like Stewart and Kelly and dekoning when other clubs are beating their chests about top 10 picks and see how they go!
Take away the best development program that turns battlers like Atkins, miers, close into premiership players and see how they go!
Take away the culture that makes other players want to go there and thrive even at old age (e.g. our own winning the norm) and see how they go!
Yea I totally see your point!
Old news, also not going to happen. He is going to stay with the DogsMitch Cleary is reporting that we seriously after after Jamarra Ugle-Hagan next year. Would take big money to get him.

In terms of strategy, it’s a good move. More than likely to strike out with JUH but would help prise out baz. I’d even consider throwing big money at Darcy, it’s more on potential but athletic bigs like him with versatility are gold. I also think he has more potential than JUH anyways, also unlikely but worth having a crack too.Mitch Cleary is reporting that we seriously after after Jamarra Ugle-Hagan next year. Day could be the guy if he can get the best out of his body.Bont is so clearly the best player in the comp it isn't even funny. Would give anything to have a player like him.
