More likely Dogs.Butters to cats 2025 or end of contract 2026. Calling it now.
More likely Dogs.
Will be Geelong if anywhereMore likely Dogs.
Butters grew up a Dogs nuffie.I would’ve thought dogs would be chips in for Rowell come end of contract this year. Would losing Smith/Macrae/Daniel have freed up enough cap space for it?
Perfect Libba replacement
Bailey Smith grew up a Hawks nuffieButters grew up a Dogs nuffie.
And if we’d have still wanted him he’d be with us.Bailey Smith grew up a Hawks nuffie

He wanted big midfield minutes and the way our midfield group has grown & developed in size, quality and performance since 23 …….. impossible for the club to meet Smith’s demands. Cats could! And if we’d have still wanted him he’d be with us.
Nope, I’m telling you his options were limited, which was why he was open to going to the Suns at one point. Cats were well aware of his issues, but have backed themselves into get him right/keep his issues out of the press.Wait so you’re telling me we could’ve got a pick 15-20, sat on our hands till deadline like Geelong did and gotten Bailey Smith but pulled out of the deal ?
Outside of salary cap reasons I’m surprised we wouldn’t have gone after him.
Is Luke Breust the greatest small forward of all time? What criteria do we use to evaluate that question?

You don't consider Cyril a small forward?Betts, Milne, Bruest are all the clear top 3 for mine. Statistically I think they’re a fair bit ahead of any other smalls.
What order you have them in is a total lottery but I’d go Milne, Betts, Bruest. Although only one of them has a premiership medal (or 3)
Statistically, he's nowhere near the other 3.You don't consider Cyril a small forward?

Yes Cyril did things as good or better than anyone. Yet from a Hawthorn perspective he sits between Ben Dixon and Paul Hudson for goals kicked and the latter played far less games for Hawthorn and kicked another 210 goals at the dogs.Statistically, he's nowhere near the other 3.
I believe that the club and some of his ex-premiership teammates are working on mending the bridges. Whether it happens is another thing. For those closer to the club than me what does it take to get Cyril back? He’s so much of my joy and what I want to expose my daughter too so she shares that joy I just want him back as a hawk. If I can help in any way just tell me how he’s the best and a deliver of joy.

Probably everyone needs to get the better half on side with the club first.I believe that the club and some of his ex-premiership teammates are working on mending the bridges. Whether it happens is another thing.
Thanks that’s great to hear obviously not something I expect to be reported in the mainstream. Hard to think how we could love the club more but this is clearly one way if at all possible.I believe that the club and some of his ex-premiership teammates are working on mending the bridges. Whether it happens is another thing.
