Would be good if the article could outline exactly which part of the relevant law prevents him being named, given his age at the time of the most recent alleged incident.

And also, is it unique to Queensland's youth crime law, or are the equivalents in other states the same?

I don't think you can get life for attempted murder, so the next best possibility is he declared unfit for trial and locked in a loony bin for the rest of his life.

Nah he already knows stabbing someone to death only gets you 2.5 yrs and no one even died this time around - based on that, best case for us (if he gets a tough judge) he might be locked up til his 21st.
 
Was the offender trying to silence key witnesses, or just generally insanely dangerous.

Parents charged with murder of 12-year-old Gold Coast girl Tiffani Scholten​

The parents of a 12-year-old girl who was found dead inside her Gold Coast home two years ago have been charged with murder.

Police began their investigation in April 2022 after paramedics were called to the family's Coomera property.

Tiffani Scholten was found unresponsive and "extremely emaciated", police said.

Carrissa Kaye Scholten, 36, and Aaron Paul Richardson, 37, were arrested overnight and charged with one count of murder.
