Amazons "New World" is out now. Anyone played it? I had somehow never heard of it til this morning so blindly bought it to check it out later on tonight hopefully.

I thought it looked interesting but for now I'm not going anywhere near New World.

Pretty sure it turned out that there were only a few GPUs that got bricked and that subsequent investigation by the manufacturers revealed that the reason was poor soldering on some SMDs. If MMOs are your thing, I don't think this is really a reason to avoid this game

IIRC you don't even have a 3090 for it to brick :p

EDIT: Here's an article on it

Was released today. You would feel hard done by if you bought Crysis 1 last year when it was remastered for PS4. That game alone is $45 on the PS Store. Crysis 2 is $45 (or $32 with PS Plus as they are already running a 30% off sale for 2 and 3) and Crysis 3 is $39 (or $28 with PS Plus). The trilogy bundle is $76.

Buying Crysis 1 when it was first released literally means you will be paying a lot more for the series than if you waited to buy the trilogy today as part of the bundle.

Hahaha I lost it at that Scottish fella. That's exactly how my dad sounds and how we react. No problem with Holland as drake, maybe have given him a bit of stubble like Nate always had. I do have a problem we Wahlberg as Sully. It just doesn't fit. You can also see its going to play out exactly like the games. A double double cross. Also appreciated the plane scene from UC3

We’ve waited long enough for a new splinter cell game, I friggen love all of them and a potentially new game has me hyped. I would love them to go the Hitman route and start fresh, with a young Sam Fisher voiced by Michael Ironside again.
I just want a new SC game. Loved the originals dating back to 2002 on the PS2!

Unless Nathan Fillion ever plays Nathan Drake I don't think I'm going to get the Uncharted vibe from this. It's nothing at all like him. I know it's supposed to be a young Drake, but Mark Wahlberg would have IMO been a better option than him playing Sully.

Huh, it actually has quite a bit of actual gameplay in it. That's kind of cool
