Liked how Jordy said that at 1/4 time nobody was panicking despite being 4 goals down, the sign of a good team.

As opposed to me in my living room at home:

the name jordy caused me some serious anxiety there until I realised it was Lewis and not gysberts or mckenzie

Hey guys, I was wondering how good Neale-Bullen's job security is? Congrats on the win as well, your club reminds me a lot of west coast.

Had to invoke the cat on the MB...

Not great with Tyson, Kent, BenKen all lurking and Vince to return after suspension. He'll play Rd2 but anything could happen after that.

You can pretty much guarantee he won't leave the Dees unless goody stops playing him. I remember a young ANB in his draft video talking about how highly he values loyalty. Hes also Billy Stretch's spirit animal.

Remember when Scully valued being a 1 club player. Or when we tried to trade ANBs teammate trenners to the Tigers for an 8 pick up grade

Not sure Adelaide will be throwing millions of dollars and a contract for his old man to get Alex Neal-Bullen to their club. Plus ANB isn't a ****. I'm sure if he's getting a game and playing alongside his best mate in a finals bound team he'll be happy.

ANB could well be a campaigner. We don't really know that much about him. Flies under the radar.

And even if he didn't fly under the radar, we still wouldn't necessarily know whether he was a knob or not

It is early, but certainly all the talk coming out of the club these days suggests that we've probably turned the corner (or have our indicator on at a minimum) of being one of the clubs where players only leave for more opportunity, rather than chasing some success. As long as ANB doesn't get dropped next week and not play another game for the year. If he carries on the way he started last week, there will be more interest, but I don't think he'll want to leave with his best mate there, and something building.

From the horse's mouth, he wasn't big on Roos but loves Goody.

Point is Adelaide are thin on in the midfield and could offer him guaranteed 22 plus probably a pay rise and he gets to go home
Every club on the rise losers fringe players

Cats lost Prismall and Moloney
Hawks McGlynn and Kennedy
Dogs are already under pressure with JJ

Your gonna lose 1 or 2 inevitably. To me he is the prime candidate

If ANB is able to give us the extra currency to get a Josh Kelly or Steven May over the line then I am happy to lose him.

I don't know who was selecting the team last year but ANB got 2 games as a small forward and then was dropped again. I'd be a little miffed too

Whilst I've still got big question marks on him, I agree he was treated very poorly last year. The guy is killing it in the midfield for Casey then you play him as a small forward? wtf? He did play forward a fair chunk on Saturday but got to play the most on ball time I reckon he has ever had at AFL level.

We have ridiculous depth now
Harmes, Kent, Tyson, AVB could all come into the midfield
Be happy to trim a little depth to improve the top end

ANB will not be a fringe player by seasons end. Bookmark it!

I have been a wrap on him for the last couple of years, he just struggled to turn his vfl form into afl form. Now in his 3rd season his will cement himself in the team and we are on the rise so there is no need t head back to adelaide.

FWIW how many South Australians want to go home aftef they have lived and settled in Melbourne for a few years?

Scott Thompson, Brice Gibbs, Brad Ebert, Jared Polec etc there's been a couple
Not as many as the WA boys

I'm not sure he does cement himself in the team

Remember we are missing Hibberd, Kent, Frost, Tyson from the best 22 as well potentially AVB who has been preferred to ANB
He's still relying on injuries as he is a little bit one dimensional
