Are you sure there wasn't some back and forth going on? My impression was that Frost was the one chatting May up at quarter time. In any case, should be able to leave it on the park and not carry grudges / frustration around because a player is too precious.

Everyone talks up Lever as being a "defensive general" at 22 and whatever 5 or 6 games he's chalked up for us. Don't have an issue with May walking in the door and throwing his hat in the ring given he's a far more experienced player despite only playing 3 or 4 or however many games for us.
I've said my bit on that incident. I just thought May was being a bit of a prick. But I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. If he can whip our backline into shape, I'll be happy about that.

You know early to mid 20s graduates with the following capabilities?
  • Demonstrated capability to plan, co-ordinate and drive the implementation of a world class High Performance and Medical Program.
  • Proven experience of working and leading collaboratively within an integrated multi-disciplinary program environment.
  • Proven capacity to manage, develop and drive staff towards the creation and implementation of a world leading High Performance and Medical program.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience leading a High-Performance program, working with elite athletes and delivering high level preparation programs in high-performance sports.
Those are some early starters!

Simmer down Dave I was just talking about the degree qualification

Not impossible though, speaking as someone who watched some episodes of Doogie Houser MD

But Doogie became Barney Stinson when he grew up, so clearly its not realistic to expect much from child doctors because they'll inevitably become skirt chasers rather than high performance medical program practitioners.

The message.

But, if you deliver it in a manner which doesn’t achieve your results..

They got there in the end so I'd say May did get a result. Bit of frustration on the part of both players, but I reckon the next time will be more convivial.

How the fu** do the eagles find another exciting young indigenous kid? Do we have some stupid rule where we don't draft indigenous kids from other states Incase they get home sick?

More likely because your average exciting, livewire small forward doesn't have the build to play inside, so yes, we probably don't bother looking at them for the draft.

Also, lol at Freo 2.19.

Edit: Having a quick google, Cameron was part of the WEages' "Next Generation Academy", so was already tied to them.

I'm genuinely starting to think Goodwins recruitment philosophy is garbage, Essendon did similar things whilst he was there.

Geelong won the flag in 2007 without any exciting young indigenous kids

Matthew Stokes would be crying into his medal collection at this comment...

For some reason I thought he missed 2007. Was 2009 as it turns out, when they had Varcoe.

I thought you were going to tell me he wasn't exciting, meaning he'd be crying even harder into his medal collection.

Do we have any indigenous players in our list other than Jetta at the moment?

Actually JKH and Toby Bedford!

I love aboriginal players - higher risk but bloody high reward. They can be amazing and are usually outside speed and foot skills which we desperately need.

Hi guys. Pardon the intrusion, but I’ve been watching quite a few Melbourne games this year and there’s something that puzzles me - Angus Brayshaw.

Has Goodwin or anyone in MFC spoken about why Brayshaw has such low TOG? Why would you intentionally keep one of your better players on the bench for so long?
