I don't get why Foxtel don't get their own cameras and commentators for those games?

And production wise 7 is terrible, Channel Ten/One before Murdoch took over was the best productionwise.

Another thing, wtf is with showing us what the bloody WAG's do? Can anyone honestly say they give a shit? And why is Rachel Finch hosting a segment on the footy?

Way to many slow motion replays during play and too many tight in shots.

its not darts, the game is played on a field over 150 meters long and 120 meters wide.

ffs, quick replays when required and show of much of the play as you can.

I concur with everything said. Pathetic production.

BT got about 5 or 6 Demon/StKilda players names' wrong on Saturday night. Camera angles are average, replays during live game, ordinary calling from commentators.

Commetti isn't as funny as he used to be either, although one of his calls from the Fremantle versus Carlton game was good when Mitch Robison shirked a marking contest...

Robison looked a bit timid at that marking contest, but that's coming from a man sitting up here wearing makeup

Not a direct quote but something like that, was quite funny :)

Sometimes it seems that some commentators (BT) think they are there for their 'entertainment value' rather than to call the footy.

Channel 7 are a disgrace. Thank god Foxtel have the rights otherwise I would have gone on a suicidal rampage at 7 HQ.

I didn't realize there were so many others that hated it as much as I did. I thought it was just me. It's gotten so bad that I've started avoiding 3pm Saturday games because I despise the commentary and watching the games I really want to see at a mates place with foxtel.

Really wish there was some way to let them know how bad a job they are doing.

OK, so we know that channel 7's telecast is upscaled before airing on Fox.

My question is : Why cant Channel 7 upscale their own transmission ?

Although the signal is not of HD quality after being upscaled, it is noticeably clearer and more defined.

dont really get why the thread is moved to a forum where 99% wont get to read or comment on an issue that is fairly critical to how most fans get to experience the game

this isnt a FOOTY related issue??

....see the (unfortunately) titled 'hate' thread for what we have been saying for weeks.

Rohan has plagarised us all! And thank god he has!

I just hope that they are not primma donna enough to take the feedback on board...especially the difference in quality b.w Fri and Sunday arvos.

The close ups and camera angles are just shocking at times. Also can't stand the replays that regularly cause you to miss something that is happening in the game, and the cuts to coaches or individual people in the crowd that do the same...just pisses me off every single week.

Used to love the old foxtel feature where you could pick which camera you want to watch. Would usually just use the wide shot, was the closest thing to the view you get when you're at the ground.
