Heading in the right direction, but they still have a long way to go.
An unfit Griffen just kills them. Absolute star but a shadow of his former self at the moment. Libba also struggling with the extra attention.
Won't make finals this year but I reckon they'll improve as the year progresses.

True but the club will try to keep Gibbs a lot harder than it tried with Betts.
Gibbs has been described as 'untouchable' by Malthouse and really is required when he plays like he has in the last 2 weeks. Him and Murphy generating the midfield ascendency.
Pretty sure Malthouse and the brainstrust knew Betts was a player we could afford to lose seeing as we have Garlett, Ellard and Menzel...600k or whatever it was was too much for him

Re Gibbs, club is hoping to announce the he signed at the 150 year anniversary on June 14... All things tracking well for that date.
