No way in hell was there anything that should cost anyone a game let alone a GF over the weekend. Beats me why peoiple constantlky want to see players rubbed out for playing footy let alone miss a GF.
I hope everyone is ready to go for both sides and it is on for young and old!

If the incident would of incurred a suspension during the H&A matches then it sure as hell should be dealt with just as equally for a final.
All this palava about missing out on a GF is crap, if you do the crime then you should do the time regardless of when the incident occured.
We whinge & cringe about the inconsistencies of the tribunal yet we are prepared to accept it more due to the finals - simply wrong !!!

There was about 8 incidents on the weekend that would have incurred suspensions at various times over the last 3 years. There was no injuries and there will be no suspensions.
TBH I can't see how Goddards was any different to what Leigh Brown got against the crows. A backhander to the face. Johncock never came off and wasn't injured, didn't stop them giving him a week.

Staggered that ppl think players shouldn't be suspended because its a Grand Final, and we want the strongest teams playing, what about rewarding fair play? I hope Eddie has a whinge and all 3 get rubbed out.

You would hope common sense keeps a great player in the GF. Lets face it, it was a stupid thing to do but to miss a GF for it would be poor by the AFL but with the stupidity that run these things these days its very likely. The thing that could hurt Goddard is he swings the arm back twice, might be a bit hard to argue 'accidental' when he has already hit him once and then did it again... obviously knowing where his head was.

It's not the people think they shouldn't, but rather knowing that the MRP will not due to the GF, especially seeing how all the incidents are debatable.

Have you seen the Brown incident? They were both looked unintentional, but when you throw your arms around like that the AFL seem to think it deserves a week.
I seriously hope he plays, I'm just saying if they use the precedent they set 4 weeks ago he should get a week. (although Brown may have had carry over points not sure)

Most Pies fans have said they would rather have both sides having their best players on the field. Stop making crap up. Its the inconsistencies of the tribunal is a farce which is what most are going on about. Realistically, it should be no different if its a GF or RD1 of the pre-season. You screw up on field, you pay the price... its simple.
I want to see a fully fit St Kilda side so it will be more embarrassing for them when we flog them. BRING IT ON!.
