Unsolved Girls that went missing from Adelaide Oval 1973

I don't know the case. It has a convicted person. The victim however believes the perp was Hart and conviction wrong. In determining offending profile I'd be inclined to therefore include him as targeting this category of victim still until proven otherwise

Your choice for what you do. I'm unconvinced he targets only older girls based on that victim comment and his choice to abduct Kirstie

Ahh I didn't suggest Hart only targeted older girls. My approach has been that Joanne may have been the primary target and Kirste secondary or that both were targets. I don't think this offender, particularly if it was Hart, was going to leave Joanne behind either way.

With regards to the 'crazy walk' descriptions, did anyone ever check whether any of the potential suspects had some sort of injury from serving in either World War 2 or the Korean War, some other type of accident to the leg or back in civilian life, or had polio when they were younger?

I'm not sure the witness account of seeing the Beaumont kids with a man and a crazy walk actually has any bearing on this case.

Ms Daphne Gregory reported seeing Jane, Arnna and Grant Beaumont with a man on Australia Day. She said he was in his mid-thirties, with light-brown hair which was neatly parted and brushed. She went on to say that he walked with his arms bowed like an ape. This description was entitled in news articles as, “The Man with the Crazy Walk.” - Stephen Karadjis

I've attached a video of the under investigation doco of this AO case.a little earlier in this thread .In it there is a video clip (I mention the time where it happens) where Brown is seen and to my eye he has something wrong with the way he walks where he throws one leg outwards it seems. It's only for a few seconds a couple of strides but I thought it may qualify as "a crazy walk". Have a look and let me know what you think

You've both described 2 very different 'crazy walks' - one arm-based and one leg-based, would suggest two different persons? (Or one perp smart enough to vary this peculiarity to confuse people comparing BC and AO cases!)

I don’t understand how this could be considered “almost identical” without any other details. Is “Mandy” claiming that she and KG are considered aligned in the comparison of their cases? This seems very vague to me.

Also the detail about “Mandy” being a cop seems superfluous. If they’re using her occupation for credibility points then I’m slightly annoyed by that. I do believe Mandy but I just do not understand the angle the writer was going for here.

From the podcast linked in above, is information Stanley Hart was interviewed the day after the girls went missing. It doesn't say where he was interviewed but it probably wasn't Yatina, where Mark Marshall claims they drove to.

Adelaide Oval to Yatina is a three hour drive, a six hour round trip.

that was my thoughts. pensioner of some kind, unable to work or drive.

Out on 8th August, it's surprisingly quite good for an obscure little pod.
Very good. What did others make of a “family friend called Frank..but Frank wasn’t his real name”
I was also surprised at Brown’s long ‘history‘ in Qld.

That snagged with me as well but I assumed I must have missed something.

The crazy walk was from BC. She said he walked a bit like an ape.

The one from AO was described as a 'stoop'. A stoop is where your lower body tends to be ahead of your upper body causing your shoulders to hunch a little.

Different times different witnesses and likely different police taking record. It's not inconceivable the two could be the same

I thought about that too. Around that time there was polio. Maybe a cause for someone to walk funny

When Michelle did her interview with channel 7, channel 9 somehow found out and interviewed Suzi Ratcliffe and ************* about Hart..
Suzi happened to mention that there were several other children on that day that were also approached..
I have seen every interview she has done and iv'e never heard her say that before..
Although I could be wrong, she has me blocked so I can't ask any questions

Not sure anyone said he had lied. I was critical of his opinion about the David Smith link because that hasn't been corroborated so remains an opinion linking to Munro for BC. Tenuous too . I also said that the other child abuse victim he says was Hart as perp isn't fact either because it's not supported by SAPOL (to my knowledge) and actually has had some other perp convicted. No accusation of lying anywhere so maybe not me.

I tend to be very meticulous and never state something as fact unless I know and can prove it is. I will be critical of opinions which on my analysis are rubbish. You can safely do that with opinions without saying someone lied.
Do you know what year the other child was assaulted at Port Broughton oval?

Do you mean other children were approached by the perp as targets on the day of the abduction from Adelaide Oval in 1973? If that were the case, that would raise many potential questions around the purposeful targeting of Ratcliffe and Gordon, and possible involvement of Bone as part of that. It could also potentially point to a more random, opportunistic abduction.

Yes, I mean exactly that, if anyone could find the interview she did on that day it would be on there, unless it was to controversial and the police made them edit it out..
But I definately heard it!

Sorry mate but that was meant to be a joke, which fell flat i'm afraid..
But no where in there did I say he had lied although like you i'm iffy about the David Smith thing.
A 23 second video doesn't bode well with me!
