How does that one tackle make him his bitch? Anyways mate, keeping hanging onto that if makes you feel better, think I would prefer to stay in the present and look forward to the GF on Saturday, you keep trying to stay relevant, have yourself a good summer chump :thumbsu:
Oh, I dunno, Cyril getting tackled only cost them the match and possibly a flag. The only bigger ownage would be in a Grand Final.

Stay relevant? If you've read my posts in this thread you'll see that I'm supporting the Swans. I only mentioned Collingwood to illustrate a point, not to turn it into a pissing contest about which team is better. You decided to take it further. My posts were only tongue in cheek and light-hearted banter, until you came along. It seems that it is you, in fact, that can't get over Collingwood.

This thread isn't about what team I support, it's about Hawthorn going down on Saturday. It's gonna be sweet!

Will be gunning for you guys on the weekend:thumbsu:.

On a completely unrelated note, can you Swans supporters tell me who you rate highest out of Nick Smith, Malceski, Shaw and Mattner? There's a draft game on the Crows board and I've got to pick the best 12 from your list. So far I've got Richards, Goodes, Jack, Kennedy, Mumford, Jetta, Grundy, Reid, McVeigh, Hannebury, O'Keefe, Malceski. The list looks sounds but the only question mark I've got is Malceski. Tempted to put either Shaw/Smith instead of him. Cheers.

How are they scored - on possessions? If so you want Shaw, Mattner, Malceski, Smith in that order

EDIT: I looked at the Adelaide board and saw how it worked. Richmond have rubbish defence so I'd pick the best pure defender, which is Smith

I'd probably substitute Reid and Malceski for Smith and Shaw.

Is this the same Thomas that had 23 kicks and 11 handballs in 3 combined games against the Hawks this year? Shame he aint out this week for further embarrassment:oops:
Where did you get your stats from? Against Hawthorn in 2012:
28 kicks
25 handballs
3 goals
He carried an injury all year which limited him all season. Those stats are pretty good with that in mind.

Anyway, I heard you are playing in a Grand Final on Saturday? I can't really tell with all the offended you're getting from a guy who's team isn't even in the Grand Final!

C'mon Swannies!

Very very tough to pick to be honest. This is the team I've got so far Syd/Rich:
Richards, Goodes, Jack, Kennedy, Mumford, Jetta, Grundy, Reid, McVeigh, Hannebury, O'Keefe, Malceski
Cotchin, Maric, Newman, Deledio, Riewoldt, Grigg, Nahas, Rance, Houli, Martin, Tuck, Edwards

B: Rance: Richards: Newman
CHB: Deledio: Grundy: Houli
C: Hannebury: Jack: O'Keefe
CHF: Jetta: Reid: Goodes
FF: Nahas: Riewoldt: Martin
RR: Maric: Kennedy: Cotchin
Bench: Grigg, Mumford, Tuck, McVeigh
EMG:Malceski, Edwards

If I take Malceski and Reid out for Shaw/Smith I'd then move Goodes to CHF, O'Keefe to the HFF, Deledio to the wing and slot one of Shaw/Smith into a HBF. Hmm. Very tough, have a feeling Reid might explode next year though and with Richmond having no tall forward apart from Riewoldt I think I might keep him. I've got Mumford/Maric in there so one of them might swing forward and add some height to the forward line. Might change Malceski for Smith or Shaw, move Reid to EMG and have Shaw/Smith on the field.

Anyway thanks for the help guys, will ponder for a bit more...

Go the SWANNIES !!!! Just want to see that prick Clarkson and arrogant Dawks getting smashed on Saturday.

I lived in Sydney for 15 years so the Swans are our second team (albeit a long way behind the PIES)

Go Swans and Kieran Jack as the Norm Smith medalist !!!!

Yeah he missed out on a flag in 2006 unfortunately.

Yeah I was reading that. Just assumed he would have been there for it.

I think he is a terrific player and would love him to get the Norm Smith along with a premiership medal.

Really brave for him to continue playing like he is. So many people struggle to function after his ordeal.

As the day approaches it feels more 50-50 as a result.

I will be rooting for the Swans tomorrow. I read the article in the Age and cringed big time - so typical of Hawthorn supporters getting way ahead of themselves.

It took me a while to realise how good the Swans were this year. What I like best is that your boys go about their business week after week with minimal fanfare and plenty of grace.

So from me, and plenty of Victorians - good luck. Swans by 23 points

Yeah, even though I do feel a little dirty typing this I look forward to a Swans victory tomorrow.

Good luck :thumbsu:

We are always the underdogs,we are used to it. We will come to play our usual hard in and under footy, and try to win.
If we lose , we have still shoved it up all the experts who claimed we were not in grand final contention!

Swans have been my second team since the start of 2005 season. People who usually have a second team like them because they are crap and they feel sorry for them such as the lower Melbourne clubs and the fans feel insulted.

Not me! I have always loved the Swans, the culture, the style and the ability to build a team, its just great. Obviously I don't love the Swans any where near the Pies but you are my second team by far. I can't wait for tomorrow, come 5.30 pm the City will be red and white celebrating another flag and you deserve it. I really hope Rhyce has a good game and becomes a premiership player as well. Go Swans!
