Oh I didn't mean he pulled it off , just guessing we go in as give them nothing , just focus on the game, play it all down.

I think the photos just show a split second too, some times it is a simple as who wants a pic taken. I know I don't always want a photo taken , it's annoying .

It was even worse watching it on tellie though. I only just remembered it because one of the photos came up on my Instagram feed, as it's been doing with far too much GF content for my liking!

I was more concerned with the body language on the day, they looked disorganised for the anthem, they looked lost on the field and at times didn't care

Now I am angry again.

As soon as I saw that I thought, oh no, they have already psyched themselves out of it. All stressed up. Energy drained. Confirmed later on. Our psych management is terrible.

By the way Tom, spoke to you post Gather Round breakfast, asking if the club could possibly send an email or something for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. So being around for so long back to the South days i have so many mates from that era . we all did it tough back then , lack of wins , lack of finals 1970 and 77 were something else , then we had so much hope in 86/87 but failure agian , club moved North and we followed and blessed with 2 flags , but now we have had enough and i know some that will always love the club , but won't be sucked in by shit like Harley and Spenser anymore . Some won't rejoin , or will downsize as i will and these are people that buy memberships every year and spend a fortune travelling to Sydney for games and have had enough , but it's like the club doesn't give a flying F anymore , it's the Swans , not the Bloods atm

Not suffered quite as much as you through early days but I don’t see any resemblance of this current team & that of the Roos/Colless/Ireland era.

This lot are charmed with facilities but haven’t an ounce of “Bloods” in them.
I’ll too pull back on the type of membership I purchase. Premiership Club with guaranteed GF tickets x 5 means a shitload out of pocket. Don’t wish to go to another GF anymore.
Cost me $2,500 this year, $2,250 in 2022, a little less in 2016 & a little less in 2014.

We’ve been kidding ourselves with this Academy experiment.
As “talented” as we think these Academy guys are, they don’t have one bit of the Bloods Culture in them. They think they do & they talk it, but they have no idea what it means. Otherwise one of the group would have dug deep for even a small portion of the GF.
Upsetting for us fans to come to that realisation that the golden era is over.

Less about the players ability & desire but more the instructions received from the coaches. I think if the coaches instructed our guys to hunt the ball & opposition rather than worrying about zones etc, we'd see more physicality & commitment to the contest in our play. I could be dead wrong too.
