Jack wtf!!!

But this was a bloody good effort in our journey. The ones we want to stand up stood up. Imagine two more high draft picks to be added to this list.

The ultimate honourable loss unfortunately. There are guys out there that made people love them tonight.

Not really interested in pulling up any negatives, it's known stuff.

The kids were great, Phillips gargantuan. You can see why Phoenix is in the side. Some dust to settle but that was a proud moment as an AFL player for Tarryn Thomas.

Ben McKay serving up some slices of pie.

Over It Sigh GIF

That effort deserved to be rewarded, it was great to see the youngsters stand up after losing Simpkin and Greenwood early. Some real let downs from experienced players - Larkey giving away that free, Ziebell's horrendous kicking, we're only going to see some real sustained excellence once its guys like Wardlaw, Sheezel, Phillips, along with Simpkin, LDU, who are the experienced core.

I am sick and tired of gallant losses. FFS McDonald getting smothered when he has already taken 6 steps and don't get me started with Spicer. (does he have negative metres gained?). Our forwards failing to get at the drop of the ball when it matters.

Wardlaw will be a superstar. I love his skill and bravado.

That game was there to win and we come up short.

Jy and Greenwood going down, no LDU. Had them by 45 before the bounce. But the gap between the sides is much closer and happened quicker than I thought.

If we have those guys back for the return clash, we'll win.

Also a reminder of how important TT is for us.

We improved once 210cm 125kg Greenhead left the field.
