So like 5 years ago I was introduced to this on-line political role-playing game, Nation States. Then I forgot about it. Then I remembered it and began playing it only to forget about it again. About a year ago, I remembered it again and created a Gold City nation. I was going to use it for the basis of a thread, I think. To be honest, I don't remember it. Eventually, in line with the cycle, I promptly forgot about it again.

... the nation is set back a bit. I takes 12 years to pass laws and shit. It used to be 24 but I guess they've updated the game, or that setting was always there and I never noticed it which would suck because the long wait was partly why I constantly forgot to play the ****ing game in the first place.

Carrying on.

You can do stuff in the game like join regions and stuff and raid other nations/regions but I don't understand how that works any more. Right now I will just focus on making Gold City are pretty great place to live if you're wealthy, and a miserable one if you're poor so as to align the game with reality.
