Sharks must pay a lot of money for their side. It’s a very rich club. They have GF players from the SANFL, players from top VFL teams and a bunch of ex players (mostly Suns). Most of their players are old and experienced.

I’m am disappointed with how easily their midfield beat us though. Really felt we should have matched them from the centre and forward of the ball.

Older players that have experience within an AFL system, too. Southport knows how to play and have guys that can rotate through there. There's a reason they've won so many games this year.

Well coached, too. SJ is one of the best in the business. Surprised he hasn't bounced back into the AFL system by now.

The boys showed great heart and it was good to get to the ground and see all the support. QAFL is on the way up.

Also Southport better kick straight next week otherwise Casey will make them pay

Teams like Geelong didn't even make the VFL finals. It was good to get extra games into the young players even if it wasn't AFL.

The Southport midfield carved us up

I think there was some stat padding between him and DMac with some little give and gets
Crossley so fat and slow but still beat Moyle
The Suns should find out which paddock he's been in and unlock the gate for Mac Andrew
If they'd kicked straight game would have been over at 3/4 time
Great effort to get to a semi final though and really a great afternoon out for us

I’m assuming he was celebrating like that because he had 3 behinds up until the final minute where he gets a cheap goal. Was a little over the top, but who cares. His team is going to a final and he knew it.

Good game good crowd.
Surprised how well Sharks played.
Suns were good early , but dominated after quarter time.
Sharks smashed us in the middle and contested ball.
WE played some good football at times but as we tired disposal left a lot to be desired.
Not sure how many future best 22 players we have here.

Oea Moyle Bowes maybe ?
Bowes needs a big summer feel his career is at the crossroads ,done some really good things but still making to many poor turnovers.
Nice to see the Suns in a Finals ,lets hope the start of many for the club.
On a side note super impressed with Sharks Zac Foote only 21 looks all class.

It's all personal opinion really.
He's well entitled to do it if that's his expression. I personally think he looked like an absolute goose. But as l said it's all personal opinion.

good game, sad we didn't get through but happy to see the sharks represent the GC in the VFL final! they're going to need to straighten up with their kicking if they want to be any chance though!

decent crew of senior listed suns at the ground too in support which was nice to see.

You do wonder if his card is marked or if they’re still figuring out how to fit a dead eye dick forward with good forward craft into our AFL plans
I wonder if he should be playing and Levi should be playing reserves
