Apparently we dominated the first quarter?
Sadly I don't think we had a single winner over the ground when I was there
The Southport midfield carved us up
I'm told Flanders had 40+ possessions?
Wow.He was mostly unsighted while I was watching anyway.
I think there was some stat padding between him and DMac with some little give and gets
Crossley so fat and slow but still beat Moyle
The Suns should find out which paddock he's been in and unlock the gate for Mac Andrew
If they'd kicked straight game would have been over at 3/4 time
Great effort to get to a semi final though and really a great afternoon out for us

Constable was really our only all game performer and should have been given a go in the 1s during the season. Flanders gets a lot of the ball that people don't see. That dude Zac Foote (no 2) for Southport destroyed us with pace and aggression while Dawson (3) played strong footy all day. Just too big and walked past the smaller frames too easily. Massive experience for all the younger players - you can't buy finals experience even if it's one level down. Makes the improvement levels for 2023 even more exciting.

Just saw Burgess, Corbett, Moyle, Mac and Tsitas at the airport heading to Melbourne for the VFL awards.
Corbo said there were a few of them that were a bit dusty after last night.
Mac and Tsitas said they were all devastated about losing especially against Southport and we'll get them next year
It'll be interesting to see if they're all here next year

I'd say so, see what we take early on and then go by need, but I'd be happy giving him a go, he darts in and out, so quick. Ex swan, pick 54, so that's a good group to train with over there, good experience. Only 21, lives in the area (I'm assuming), can find the ball and knows where the goals are.. I think he's a good one.

I was watching the game with absolutely no knowledge of who he was and was gobsmacked he was stuck at Southport. He's definitely afl quality if he can maintain consistency. Incredible pace too.
