do you guys see anyway of having both gorringe and nicholls in your best 22?

gorringe being the full forward you need and nicholls ability to hit out to advantage and also win clearences??

Hey guys thoughts on Jarrod Harbrow as a Super Coach selection. Has scored pretty well when he is playing an offensive role. With murphy and broughton at the club he should be able to run off half back/wing. What do yous think he could average and how is he going this pre season

Guys will Stanley score better or worse in his new mid/forward role? Didn't he play it in his first year and averaged 70-ish? Although admittedly he will have improved in his 3rd year @ the Suns. Consistency is his strength, an alternative to Grimes maybe.

Bull Stanley should maintain his 80-100 scores.

Harbrow is having a super preseason. Not sure he's missed any sessions, and is definitely set for a more attacking role. He'll be playing up on the wing in 2013 too, helping his possessions. Will score 70 or so.

Thanks for the response Sunny but Surely if he is having a good pre season and playing on the wing he cant drop his average by 10-15pts. ( i'm talking Super Coach just so you know)

I was a bit worried the forward part could mitigate the midfield bonus but reassuring to hear he has kept good preseason.

From memory (off the top of my head) he still averaged about 80 something in his first year at the Suns playing as a forward. He's a safe selection for mine. Have him locked.

better picks than stanley imo..
he wont go any higher in price he will either stay the same or lose money

That's irrelevant as he is a keeper type player, you just want a good average from him. That matters for cash cow rookies or speculative picks (smokies).

would not say stanley is a keeper at all.
hes not consistent enough to
a. hold down a position, its either forward or back and midfield.
b. pump out consistent scores of over 100.

in 2011 when he played mostly forward
in his 22 games he played he only scored over 100 twice with an avg of 77.9
in his 13 games he played he only scored over 100 six times with an avg of 92.6

there are not many back keepers imo.
goddard is probably the only sure bet, as was deledio last year.
gibbs may become a keeper if he plays well under malthouse

Last time I checked a 90+ average and scores over 100 six times out of 13 games played (almost 50% of the time) is classified as a keeper in the backline. If not then there's possibly 1 keeper in the whole defensive selection for DT. There's six spots in your defense...
