Certainly not, looked very underwhelmed today. Look for Tommy Nicholls to step up next week (I think?) and see how he goes. Then it will be touch and go from there on.

How is this ruck situation looking now after another game where both played?

I didnt see the game but from stats it looks like Nicholls may have spent more time in the ruck (or if not certainly got his hand on it more in ruck contests). Is that true?

Also, why did they both play together, was it due to injury and if so is the player out returning this week (which would make it easy to see which one is now in favour for the position).

Im going to use the rd 11 bye to do a downgrade of sinclair to one of these since its the one trade that wont just end up shifting 0s for me. If it looked like they would both contine to play id even consider trading in both (with gawn the other out)- this could even be an option as it helps with cover as surely at least 1 would play each week!

Charlie should be back next week.

Sunny, I have held onto Charlie for what feels like ever now, do you think he will return this week? Its a tough one because if he isnt back then do I just keep holding on after holding on for 4 weeks already?

I don't know. :( I think he's set to play NEAFL this week, and if he gets through that, AFL next week.

But at this stage, who the heck knows?

I'm bringing in Nicholls for Gawn. All I want is that playing ruck who can give me a 60 when I have an injury etc. is this Nicholls?

Also, Timmy Sumner... Will he keep his spot? It's either him or Hitchcock/Salter from port.

With Dixon potentially back this week or next, is Nicholls spot in the team under threat? Thinking of bringing him into my SC team this week for some cash and ruck backup but don't feel comfortable about his JS with Charlie coming back. Is he more likely to hold his spot than Gorringe? Thanks.

Nicholls will definitely play this week. Dixon is only a pinch hitter.

If Dixon is back, Gorringe could be the guy gone.

Thanks for the quick reply. Still have this feeling Nicholls will be chopped before Gorringe. Gorringe has a bigger body and looks more physically ready, hope i'm wrong.

Solomon, an assistant Coach, is on record saying Nicholls will definitely play this week, if that helps you. ;)

Thanks again, not really concerned about this week as I was pretty sure he would be selected again, more worried about the coming weeks & whether he is likely to hold his spot in front of Gorringe with Dixon coming back in. Remember earlier in the season, Dixon was actually getting a lot of ruck time, a lot more than I thought he would, nearly halving it with Smith. Anyway, thanks again. :thumbsu:

What role is he playing? Would love a bit of an overview of this kid.
Is he best 22 or who needs to get back into the team to bump him out?

Thanks in advance
no he isnt in our best 22. getting a game at the moment due to injuries but is playing his role fine.
he is playing as a tallish forward.. at 187cm he is more of the 3rd option going into our forward line.
has good pace and a bit of x factor about him.
we have sort of made a role for him in the forward line, generally his spot is taken by the likes of bennell, lonergan, brennan types who are resting in the forward line when they are not in the midfield.

I'm downgrading Kerridge for some funds to use next week - do I go with Sumner or Gorringe? I already have Nicholls.

Cheers.

Gorringe will be out when Dixon is back and I don't see Sumner in the best 22 either. Would look at upgrading in the forward line.

Forward upgrade not really an option - no cash and already got Martin and nicholls, and can't trade in Tmitchell for Jom coz its kinda like robbing Peter to pay Paul: I'm just moving the 0.

Dixon may be back next week, so thats gorringe out. Sumner out when Bennell returns in 2-3 weeks? Is that fair?
