APY Lands, SA
AFL Club
Gold Coast
Other Teams
Tampa Bay Buccaneers, TB Lightning,
Pending any injuries and other suspensions (i'm gonna say Bozzy is almost a certain week or two) i'd be hesitant to make many changes

In: Dixon, Swallow
Out J-Hall, Boston (susp)

If Brown goes too, which I don't think will happen i'd be tempted to bring Gilbee in for him. Been doing a few decent things in recent weeks.

There were a few decent players in the NEAFL who could possibly have had their hands up for selection on any other week, but coming of possibly the best game in our history I don't think it's gonna happen.

C'mon SUNNIES. Back to back against 2 of the "Big 4" :thumbsu:

This game will be the 100th VFL/AFL game to be held at Carrara. I hope the Suns do something nice for it, maybe a flash back to some of the old Bears games and of course Suns games on the big screen before the game. No need to mention Carlton's poor record at Carrara, most GC supporters would already know.

I thought hall played well.. Guess u need to bring Dixon in though.. What about dropping Aaron?

Hall was ok. But I just can't see anyone else being dropped for Dicko.

If we wanna go in a bit taller i'd be up for Aaron having a rest. Almost wouldn't be surprised to see Gilbee in for Aaron

I'd normally be worried about Betts or Garlett, or even Yarran too. But with Broughton in there, as well as Tape and Weller, we should be able to stem their influence.

How good has Sebby been since his return? It's amazing how much better these young players look now that we have more experience and support. Now they actually have a chance to rebound!

amazing the fact he hasnt played much footy.. he still has developed during his time away

Anyone know how Rory's ankle is going and whether Dixon is a good chance to return for this game? Would be massive if both Rory and Charlie were able to play.

Rory managed to run out the game fine without any other major issues, I'm confident that it's just a minor roll of the ankle and nothing more sinister. I'm hoping SUNS will be able to provide his expert opinion (He definitely came up with the goods at 3 qtr time when I was worried)

Rory probably hurt a few ligaments and was likely jabbed to keep him going. A good solid week of icing should get him up.

Not sure on Charlie. Apparently was very aggressive and took some good contested marks. Not a day for the big forwards though. It will be interesting to see if they give him one more run, or bring him straight in. He tore Carlton a new one last year.

Have just heard a whisper that we are likely to give Dicko one more week in the neef and then bring him in for the Perth game whilst giving Tommy Nicholls a rest. They wanna not push tommy too much and give him a week off so that he is fresh for our last 4 weeks.

You've got the credibility, You've got me believing you.

Depends on who is the sorest.

Boston looked absolutely shot midway through the 4th quarter. He stood up from a tackle and just the expression on his face... he looked like he was about to pass out!

I would probably rest Azza Hall. Clearly way down from where he was.

Aarons been down from being great earlier on in the season. Give him a break, show him his spot isn't necessarily cemented, and let him go at Perth.

I'd be tempted to drop Russel to the sub/NEAFL and let Sexton start for a whole game. Showed good signs in the limited time he had. Russel just seems not up to AFL standard yet. Of course that's just how I see it. :)
