Champion data says we have the easiest draw in the comp from here on , as you say no excuses , only player injured is Sammy , we need to get on a run the next 4 games crucial , Melb @ NT ,West Coast @ Metricon , Hawks @ MCG , Carlton @ Metricon , win 3 we are in with a shot.
And it will likely be straight through our foot

After China we needed a bye so the supporters could pick themselves up off the ground and have time to recover.
Aggh! When we turn up to play it is an inspiring sight.
Suns: if you want to play finals you need to win on the road - don't let us down.

where on earth is our aboriginal guernsey????

Looks..... interesting. Not sure how I feel about it. Dont like it as much as the first red one we had, although I assumed we would have a clash indigenous jumper like last year as we will clash with Melbourne in this? Unless we wear it at our next home game instead? Need to see a full reveal of it and the back to make my mind up.
According to the article each indigenous player has their own individual totem on the guernsey (Im assuming on the back??).

No return games against Crows & GWS or Perth trip vs Eagles helps

i like the guernsey but would probaly like it more if the black on the sides were either red or yellow.

Well they better turn up and really put in when it comes to contested possession and tackling or otherwise the heat will be turned right up. I'm over it. 3 insipid efforts (Brisbane/GWS/Port Adelaide) already this year. They are already over their quota for the year. No more. Time to grow up.

I like it.

Logo looks a bit out of place... Should really consider giving away some more control over how that looks in the future.

The evidence is starting to mount for what the guernsey will look like next year. Seems like it will definitely include a black/navy blue.
We used these colors for our last indigenous jumper also the black with the yellow and red represents the indigenous flag. I hope they stick with the light blue even incorporate it more.

Melbourne copping a lot of flak for starting slowly on the weekend.
Our Men better be prepared for a frantic and physical contest in the 1st Quarter.
You can 100% guarantee Melbourne will be fired up for the opening bounce.

So yes I'd be looking at playing some hard nuts this week such as Hallahan/Lonergan.

Swallow is different as he was still contracted for 2017 when he re-committed. So Dave didn't need to say anything.

The scrutiny wasn't there other than his brother being at North Melbourne.
Yeah very true. Listening to the 9 News GC interview and the interview on GC's website puts me at a bit of ease

shit, he looks solid in the video! pretty pumped for the weekend now!!!!

Brodie does not turn 19 until late August.
Fingers crossed there is still a little bit of growth left. The weight and strength look like it will come naturally, and currently listed at 189cm. Might sneak a few more cms yet.
Cripps was one that just on kept growing.

Not surprised to see him named this week. Big signal in the last NEAFL game when he played up forward for 3/4s since that is where they will start him in the seniors. Might see Scheer come out this week to fit him in.

Confirmed by Rocket:
In: Swallow and Brodie
Out: Bowes (tonsillitis), Brooksby and possibly Scheer who's been sick all week.

Rocket seem very annoyed by Thompsons injury and he won't play this week and when he does play it will be through the NEAFL. Hanley to play NEAFL this week. Could be one more changes with a few boys under 'test'
