I know he's still only very young, but I've been waiting for TT to play a game like that just as a reminder of how good he could be.
Very exciting the several times the ball is kicked towards the forward line and all of a sudden TT's arms reach up out of nowhere to grab it like a white pointer.

Hopefully many years of excitement to come.

Well, I've consistently had a rash, so...
tv land doctor GIF by nobodies.

Tonight was a showcase of what our forward line is capable of, and we didn't even have Fog! Just get a taller, bigger-bodied, blue chip midfielder in and things aren't looking so bad after all.
To be fair, we have the 17th worst defence in the league. We just happened to play the only one worse today.

Genuine question, when was the last time Tex was goalless and we scored over 100? I can't recall it happening for a very long time

Besides O'Brien playing his best game since 2020, Thilthorpe playing his 3rd good game in his career and Rankine, did anyone even play well?

We were poor, no where near as good as 1st half vs Gws, 3rd qtr vs Richmond etc. It just happened to be we were playing a team worse than both GWS and Richmond.

Just had a rare journey over to the Pear board. Some serious angst over there, but the funniest post reckoned a sack of spuds beat a poorly coached team of champs-

They are really up their own ass with there list and have been for some time. It just isn't that good.

You are drunk. Go to bed. Watch it again tomorrow and get back to me.

With his height and athleticism, if he can time his lead right he will nearly be impossible to spoil.

How is this not a prime time broadcast on seven game by the way?

Best rivalry in the league, all this time and the ledger is still only +/- 1.
Because as far as 7 goes, football doesn't exist outside Vic - and the swans

Murray all game for me too.
Murray (PSSD pick) was great, Butts was a worry against Old Man Dixon

Our recent other KPD's

Butts - struggling
McAsey - pick 6, enough said
Frampton - ordinary and shown the door, better with the Pies (what's changed - a new coach?)

Doesn't say a lot for our recruiting, but tonight's not the night to complain

More silk than arse in my opinion.

Eddie was great but an arsey player, and I say that with the utmost respect.

Rankine is more polish.
Yes and no; mostly "and". :sneaky:

A couple of his Eddie's Pocket goals were very arsey (the left-foot torp from the NW pocket was ridiculous)
BUT
have you ever noticed that only really, really good players fluke them like that?
His positioning and skill-level as well as evasion skills were elite.
Only drawback imo was the MotY attempts.

Being within striking distance of the ledger after the end of their period of contention is something.
I know a lot of people don't care, or pretend not to, but **** me if we're not winning flags all I want is to be ahead in Showdowns.
