More silk than arse in my opinion.
Eddie was great but an arsey player, and I say that with the utmost respect.
Rankine is more polish.

Cramp in his hamstrings.Rachele looks ok post match, I was worried when he hobbled off
Feels good!I know a lot of people don't care, or pretend not to, but * me if we're not winning flags all I want is to be ahead in Showdowns.
Congrats on winning the dumbest comment on the thread, awardBesides O'Brien playing his best game since 2020, Thilthorpe playing his 3rd good game in his career and Rankine, did anyone even play well?
We were poor, no where near as good as 1st half vs Gws, 3rd qtr vs Richmond etc. It just happened to be we were playing a team worse than both GWS and Richmond.
It’d be excellent if Fog/RT become our version of McKay/Curnow, or Hawkins/CameronThilthorpe's game is huge for us.
For the rebuild to be salvageable, he absolutely has to become a star of the competition. It'd been more than a year since he'd shown those sorts of signs, and the club was blinking on his development. This is it. The big reminder of the promise.
We just must sink games into him- he could become a top 5 in the league type guy.
Disagree, Eddie is one of the great small forwards over a long long period.
What Rankine has that Eddie didn't have is explosiveness and ability to play up the ground.
****ing nailed those two trades.JHF was without question the marquee trade last offseason.
However, Rankine will end up being the higher impact trade IMO.

Two elite key forwards in the same side might be the most difficult thing to stop, especially if one has elite height and reach like RT does
I liked the way Gollant persisted and worked his way into the gameIt’d be excellent if Fog/RT become our version of McKay/Curnow, or Hawkins/Cameron

Yeah I didn’t mind his performance, I’m kinda bummed he wasn’t rewarded with a goalI liked the way Gollant persisted and worked his way into the game
He knocked me out of the goal kicking comp, don’t want to see his face again.I liked the way Gollant persisted and worked his way into the game
Made me double check. Tonight was the 3rd time in his career.I'm actually surprised it's happened at all tbh
