Comfortably the better team for the majority of the game. Very fortunate from a WCE point of view the bad kicking, a 70+ result would have been achieved. Shame Tex missed that last one!

Really impressed with Soligo, a big step forward. I hope Schoenberg’s injury isn’t too bad.

I know the organic growth may be used, but seriously… another preseason into the group under the BEST in Burgess… as a starting point. Hopefully any trade acquisitions are of value and not just trying to be “busy”.

The potential is scary. Lots to look forward to next season.

A sad evening for us (WCE), a tear or two shed if I’m honest 😢
Congrats on Harley Reid! Touted as one of the best draftees of all time!

Rankine should spend his entire offseason training in the midfield. That guy looks like a way better Shai Bolton 4 years ago.

With a way better tank

West Coast will be stoked at that result.

IMO North don't deserve pick one. They are a horrible organisation that shouldn't be part of the AFL; they are Victorian bloat, which plagues this league.

I have much greater faith in West Coast rebuilding and returning to strength, and a strong West Coast is great for the league
West Coast will be back in finals within 3 or 4 years. North Melbourne will still be guff.

Tex take a bow. Hope he gets AA and a gold jacket.

Soligo played well. Rachele also good.

Never want to see Rob in the tri-colours again. He's a talentless s**t truck who is the definition of somebody who only gets games because he's tall.
Scary that in 20 years he might have offspring available to us under the Father son rule.

Matt crouch has been outstanding in the last month, barely put a foot wrong. Every disposal was an attacking one even though most were handball.
I was wrong about Milera, has his faults but is so cool under pressure and one of the few with pace and class.

Soligo is a star in the making and loved Rashes game as well even after a poor start

Doesn’t matter really, get the feeling they will pick local lad Curtin regardless if it’s pick 1 or 2

They can sell pick 1 for a big payday now though and they avoid any Ben McKay compensation

Liked:

Tex - should have kicked a dozen
Soligo - 24 touches at 83% DE, 2 goals, couple of clearances, great last two games.
Rachele - 17 touches at 88% DE, 3 goals. A little bit of mojo back
Dawson - put his body on the line time after time
Gollant - need to play him more, enjoyed watching him in ruck
Worrell was solid

Did not like:
Peds - disposal is erratic at best
Borlase - tries hard, just a step too far unfortunately
Murphy - only 11 pressure acts in 99 minutes of action, just not sure what is his value
RoB - was our fourth best ruck tonight
Harry's injury

Soligo has really turned his season around. Last week was his best ever game IMO and this week was about as good, albeit against much weaker opposition.

Does Nicks/the selection panel get credit for resting/dropping him and his strong finish to the season? I must admit I thought he was done for the year in terms of highly influential performances given how he was playing for a month or so there post-bye.
