Thank you!

Good luck for next season, with a bit more refinement and luck I hope that you guys make finals and really give things a a good shake.

Soligo was great.

We tried too hard to get Tex goals in the first half. He got 3 times as many in the second half when we were trying less.

Other than that footy can get ****ed (unless Curnow is still stuck on 0 goals with 5 mins left in the 4th)
Disagree: Tex showed lack of judgement all by himself, attempting many ridiculous shots in that period.

Not unhappy with that win especially after how that game was tracking in the 2nd & 3rd quarters, it will help this team a lot mentally moving forward. Well known this group is picky when it comes to attitude and mentality and with the result meaning nothing it was good to at least see them put in some effort to play out the game.

Just terrifyingly fearful of life after Tex, Fog needs to attend another self belief seminar over the off-season and Thilthorpe again shows he’s a ruck not a forward.

Seen enough of Parnell now to know he’s burgled an AFL main list spot, he’s a nothing player, criminal he played and not Nankervis…

Schoenberg ain’t that much better.

Laird & Crouch - Even more evidence the one way bandits do not work together, their defensive ‘efforts’ in that first half were just disgusting for senior players and anyone one at the club who thinks of giving Crouch a contract should themselves be sacked. 15 kicks and 53 handballs between them is ridiculous overkill, I give Laird an out as at least he stepped up in the 2nd half with some important tough hard ball gets and setup play which is not an easy thing to do when his body is held together with sticky tape at the moment.
Serious a lot of Crouch’s handballs opened the gate for us and we’re attacking

I hope like hell a total revamp of skills practice and training is brought into the club in the pre-season because what has taken place under Nicks’ tenure has been appalling. No good having Darren Burgess if you the have some development coach training their actual ball skills who’s not highly skilled to do so.

Speaking of skills, nice to see ROB had a fitting 100th game 💩, like an anchor around the club’s neck.

The situation with Simpson means they either pay through the nose with the luxury tax if they want to acquire decent coaches, or they bring in a bunch of state league coaches like Adelaide did in 2020. They are rich though so maybe they'll just pay it.
we didn't bring in a raft of sate league coaches .. that's what were left with

The worst kind of season.

No finals, no draft capital, and no likelihood of firing Nicks.
No finals and Nicks thinking/knowing he’s done enough to be safe are the daggers, the Draft is nothing to be worried about as other than the top few this year is just a crap-shoot. The club would be just as well off dropping down the order and getting an Ashton Moir and praying his down year was an out of the blue occurrence.

Walker is a lock for AA, no need to stress about it. Great season. Dawson will be in the squad and hopefully get a spot, probably on the bench. No.1 for Coaches votes against top 8 sides in the league.

Good:
Kids:
Soligo very good with his run
Rachele found some form. Will be a star when AFL fit.
Keane shown some offensive ability, never see this from Butts. Doesn't absolutely need it but a bonus.
Pedlar looked good around the ball
Gollant, might not be a spot until Walker retires. Played better than most of Thilthorpes games this year.
