Re: Official GVFL thread

Pretty happy with the way the swans are going at the moment.. Just sneaking under the radar a little bit. Will be a massive contender when they get their full sqaud in and fit towards the end of the year and make a big charge at it.. About the time Mooroopna's wheels fall off!
Will have to produce something special to beat the lions though. Quality Team

Have witnessed the Swans and Mooroopna in the past two weeks. From what I have seen the Cats are at least a 6 goal better team, they have far too much pace for the ageing swans list. The Swans may prove me wrong but I can only go on what I have seen thus far.

I'd like to see the average age for the swans v Mooroopna. I think you'll find that Mooroopna's is higher.
Swans have 1 bloke over 30 then the next oldest is 27.

Not sure where your getting ageing swans list from???

1 bloke??

I stand corrected on the age factor, maybe they just looked older because they had far less leg speed than the Cats seemed to have. No need to get all defensive mate its just an opinion.

Re: Official GVFL thread

Is this your way of hiding from the fact Im smarter and know more than you?
Does it really hurt that much that my ideas of football are better than you?
Is the little tag at the bottom of your posts an excuse for how much you dont know?

You certainly dont belong to MENSA with most of the dribble you post. What ideas are better? the division 1 and 2 of Vic country footy where Echuca plays an away game to Bairnsdale? Thats a good idea. GV Thread
Where you talk about dollars and why clubs dont value a premiership if they pay players. Thats a good idea. HDFL Thread
Your arguement of lets just wait 18 rounds to see if I am right today with what Ive posted. Most threads

The saying is ignorance is bliss. Is there a town in Victoria called Ignorance as I suggest you may be the Mayor?

Yes you are smarter, better looking, faster, stronger, a better mini golf exponent and you can have the pick of any bloke that wants you. Is there anything else I missed? You are MR COUNTRY FOOTBALL all knowing and seeing eye.

PS _ I still Love you. Room 233.Im waitiing. GRRR

There you go again, posting what I havent said. You seem to be able to read but not understand or is it you understand but cant read?
You dont have a brain that can comprehend simple ideas, do you?
Intelligence is a problem for you so you fill your posts with abuse and poor poor poor attempts at humour.
I sujest you get a life and sort yourself out bud as you seem to have far deeper problems than me.
And yes I am smarter than you but I dont know how you would know I was better looking, faster and stronger than you. Maybe you might want to post a pic and some stats so I could let you know. Also if you do play mini golf than you would be better than me I would imagine as I havent and have no intention of playing the game.
Also I dont know if you have mistaken or not but Im a bloke and Im not gay so unless your a good looking lady I have no sexual interest in you. And I dont find men attractive, do you?
Ive probably spent too much time on you but I do find your posts, as well as others in reply to me interesting. I dont understand why you argue and get so abusive for what I dont say but they are interesting.

There you go again, posting what I havent said. You seem to be able to read but not understand or is it you understand but cant read?

You have NEVER posted about country footy being divided into divisons like ammos?
You have NEVER posted about players not enjoying winning a premiership because someone got more coin than the next?
You have NEVER posted stating " we'll see who is right at the end of the season"

Gee I knew I wasnt that smart but I didnt realise you had selective memory. Seems you write things that you cant remember. The reason people put time into you is that they are trying to educate you on everything you dont know about football. Hence its a Tsunami of posts because you dont know much, your ideas are child like( based on your age - mental) and you continually try to force points upon people who read these pages by telling them they are all DIKWADS. ( Spelling gives away age)
Get your big boy brain in and stop posting shite a nd you may get some decent replies. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and your JESUS complex that you are smarter than everyone is frightening. I expect to see a picture of you and your room when they show how the next serial kller lived.

PPS - I am not sure, but my love may be waneing. Nope these some tent action again. Bring it on Tiger, GRRR. Im a tiger, GRR. This doing it for you?

Re: Official GVFL thread

Where from here Tatsean: seniors beaten by a total of 65goals,3 coaches in 3 years, asking members to dip into their pockets to help the club financually, have been blooding juniors for 4 years without much success, must be very dishearting for you and your supporters, maybe the club is lacking a direction from the top, how much longer can the club and players remain possitive

Yes you are right cleanhands on most counts....struggling....possibly different ideas from the board last year...maybe didn't want playing coaches so could be why we lost Linc W to Numurkah. Mal Noble was ok coach but in my point of view, not for the team at where we are at so have probably stagnated and lost 2 years of improvement due to that appointment. He would have been better suited to be coaching a top 6 team. With Noble not parting ways until late the club left the run a bit late for "Hair" Serra to recruit players.
From a player point of view we struggled last year and have since lost Tim Little, who didn't want to continue with the current playing group....Some of the other players we lost from last year were our full forward, full back and centre half back. If you take the ruck, ff, fb and chb out of most clubs I think they will struggle, especially when you don't replace them! We have only recruited more midfield type players, so are a very small inexperienced side.
I disagree with your comment about our juniors. Last year our 3rds finished on top but went out in the finals in straight sets. Of the few 3rds that played ones last year, and so far this year, I think: 3 are on the bushies list, 2 have left town for uni and not coming back on weekends to play and 1 joined the army. So these 6 would be great assets to our seniors if other circumstances had permitted.
I am not disheartened either. What I have enjoyed most is being able to play with a great bunch of blokes. I had 8 years off before getting asked to help out in the ressies for Tat last year and I am loving every bit of it. There is a lot of other players in the ressies at the moment who are in similar situations to mine. I don't think we would be beat many KDFL reserves teams at the moment. We just have to keep the club going with a good social and family atmosphere to keep supporters around during these hard times.:(

Wish there were more blokes like you in footy. All about the Club and its survival. Well done:cool:

I do think that a relagation system will work.
I dont know what you mean with "the division 1 and 2 of Vic country footy" as I didnt say it.
I also didnt say that "Echuca plays an away game to Bairnsdale". It wouldnt work like that, would be too complicated for a moron like you but most people would find it easy to understand.

I did say "down the track will you look back and think you had a great time winning that flag with all those toss bag blokes that got paid so much or geez I had a great time playing with those honest blokes that worked so hard together!!". Do most people not agree?

I did say "Lets just see how well you go in the next few weeks, Echuca, Swans and Mooroopna". And if I did say " we'll see who is right at the end of the season", is that not the only way I would be prooven to be wrong in an argument of opinion?

But hey Dikwad, you keep you chin up and enjoy life. Time for you to move on and get a friend.

Re: Official GVFL Thread (part 2)

Sandhurst FC in the Bendigo Football League are still recruiting for the present season.

Any players that are moving to Bendigo or are looking for a change of club, leave me a message.

Great club environment, play and train at the best oval in Central Vic, proud club history. Match payments considered for the right quality players.

Newman, Bowen and Saad would form a very lethal forward set up? Throw in Fagan and Osborne for back up. Guy Campbell or Flint would hold down CHB. I think this squad has the potential to form the best side they've had for a while. Definately plenty of midfield options and Schottner and Harrop will be a good ruck combination.

Harrap will form a strong ruck combination with Schottner, and Nick Allan is a proven interleague player. Chapman is a young kid coming through the ranks, so I suspect the league are wanting to include some youth in the side due to the carnival format.

They have also included a couple of guys from Tat & Benalla in the squad, yet they have not won a game this season. Should that exclude them from being included in the squad or are you just P1ssed off that 'sheep dog' McCarty hasn't been included?
