Mango, can you please try to write with some form of grammar. Your posts are ridiculously difficult to read and understand.

Re: Official 18's GVFL Thread (part 2)

hey just wondeirn which clubs have started there trainin and who at the clubs is lookin fit and who will stand out from each club this yr

They have all started in Shepparton Some earlier than others. Bears have been going since November, United had a few runs prior to Christmas as did the Swans. Numbers look down at all clubs at the moment with very few players turning up in the heat. As usual the Bears have stuffed up a few of the junior sides(under 16's) by enticing ($$?) young boys still eligible to play Under 16's. When will they learn?? They have about 6-8 of them training there three nights a week!!! Bloody ridiculous. Not saying all of em will play but they have signed a couple apparently.

Any one else with any news on the clubs as it has been very quiet. Which sides are playing in the Stanhope Series?

Not much to report due to lack of numbers everywhere. A lot still involved with cricket I suspect. Reckon the local sides will all struggle on what I have seen!!

How are the Ky boys looking - Curnow, Ogden, Pryde etc etc. Is Oggie and Pryde still in Bushies? They will be a big loss to your side if they get into the final sqaud!

yeh ky had its first session tonight and it was a solid session there r a few new faces that people wont no and i think will b surprised by but the numbers at ky r lookin good and yes pryde and oggie r both in bushies still with bushies having practise matches coming up in 2 weeks the list will b finalised soon so they will no what they will b doin this yr footy wise also curnow is lookin good on the track he looks like becky form last yr and hopefully plays like him but i think the big surprise of the yr will b michael dillon he has wokred hard and hopefully he can not get sick like last yr and have a real crack and b a leader with the likes of curnow thomo and lovo

Re: Official 18's GVFL Thread (part 2)

Seen him play a bit, great kick, raking left footer, my view is that he goes missingduring games, given he has had a bugger of a run with injury and illness he needs to get fit and contribute over 4 quarters. Only saw him play GV thirds last year and he was an average player for both
Shepp and Swans. Who is he likely to sign with for this year?

Patone is on a scholarship down at Caulfield Grammar but will probably come up and play for Bears when he can I think...

so which players are ending up at which shepparton clubs this year? its fairly quiet with several players having a run at all three shepparton clubs.

"also curnow is lookin good on the track he looks like becky form last yr and hopefully plays like him but i think the big surprise of the yr will b michael dillon he has wokred hard and hopefully"

Sure about those names there mango45 because curnow and michael dillon have been regulars at rushworth 1's trainin sessions so far this pre season where there gettin $150 a game not 100% certain on that figure though could be only $100.

Re: Official 18's GVFL Thread (part 2)

yeh i have heard that son of beatle i heard rushy were talkin to curnow ad dillon would b good pick ups if they get them to those to r close mates and look for each other on the field and also in the showers as well but i am not sure they dont seem like the money chasering type of blokes but time will tell

Paul bugoss from tat is lookin real ripped and fit to go this year, gonna be a real underdog for league medal i reckon.. what u reckon mango?

yeh i agree with u sliden lookin really good i have come to watch him train and he looks fit and looks like he has put on some muscle which will b good for him cause he should really expect to play in the guts this yr for tat a good contest i wanna see is will jackson from ky go head to head with bugoss will b a good match up on anzac day at the ky rec
