Ogden played sunday as well and was bog. I thought Mango went ok. Both sides had players play in the seniors the day before I believe. Swans very lethargic early and Ky kicked away to a 7 or 8 goal lead. They played good fast running footy and deserved the win. Swans came back in the last quarter kicking 4 goals to nil but it was all over. Our players had an 18th the night before and a lot of the Swans were at a deb apparently. They did not switch on like they did on the Wednesday against United. Both sides will figure prominently. Ogden is still eligible for the Under 16. Is that true? Height would be his only problem cause outside that he is a freak!

Thanks for the report- do most agree Swans will be there come September?

Ky and swans game was probably a survival of who could recover better from the night out by the sounds of it. Both teams look like they will be there in september. good to see a hit out during the year with both sides at full strenght and fitness. Ogy is a freak and is technically only his first year of under18s but looks like a regular in the senior side.

Anyone catch the Echuca v Sth Bendigo game on Saturday?

i saw echucas match on the weeekend versus strathmore(edfl) and they got beat.. seemed be a heap of players missing. few positive signs in a couple of players showing a bit of form.

euroa very ordinary. Benalla were not to bad but still have a lot of good players to come back into the side, and should be fairly strong.

euroa were missing the chb and chf who were both playing seniors and lost there 2 best players just b4 halftime.. thought benalla werent much up against an undermanned euroa side

this page is dying in the ass

Split round, school holidays, start of season - not that much to report I would expect.

"Look at me" from united has clammed up which is good so now the thread may start to get some substance.

Anyone care to comment on the Swans vs Mooroopna game? I read that Mooroopna were 6 goals to 2 at quarter time and only kicked 3 goals for the rest of the game. Are Mooroopna that bad or can someone explain what happened during the game.

Yep it can only improve, if he resurfaces under a new name, he won't be hard to spot with that spelling, grammar and love of himself!

swannies boys weren't particularly switched on in the first quarter and mooroopna took advantage, but it didn't take long for swans to fire up and they played 3 outstanding quarters of football and didn't let mooroopna back in at all

I hear Sam Frawley from Rochester will kill it this year after a huge season last year as a bottom age player, and has had an enormous pre season this year also. He is a largely built forward who can take big marks and is capable of kicking bags of goals per game. I don't know how Bendigo Pioneers didn't pick him up in there squad. I hear Bushrangers wanted him but he isn't in their Zone. Frawley is also a gun cricketer.

Mansfield 7.6-48 def. by Rochester 18.13-121

Shepparton United 16.6-102 def. Tatura 8.9-57

Echuca 15.6-96 def. Shepparton 10.5-65
