Re: Official 18's GVFL Thread (part 2)

Always rated Willo as one of the most dangerous players in 3rds comp with ability to win a game in a short period of time. Is he staying at Cat land this year? If so it will be interesting to see how he goes at Senior level in the GV. Has he played any senior games in previous years?

Thanks demon And YES I am a PROUD DAD..

He is Playing at the Cattery this year. AND yes it will be Interesting to see how he goes. I think he should make the team (Benchwarmer)
NO he didn't play any senior games.(except for 2 Prac matches early last year)
He like his Brother 'Beau willow', 2nd's last year except for a half against your 'MOB' when we lost to you guys ( we had a few out that week) are Mooroopna through and through, Started playing here from 2nd class in the Vic Kick program.

Re: Official 18's GVFL Thread (part 2)

Little"KIDS"................... ROFLMFAO

Willow (5'7) has won.
U/14's B&F Club and League
U/14's club
Played Bushies U/15's
U/16's B&F League & Club (equaled the Goal kicking record)
U/16's Cpt. Most valuable (club)
3rd's 2006 5th B&F vote Still played 16's
2007 3rd League B&F (if memories right)
Last year 2008 Runner up B&F (ineligable, Cause he BELTED 3, YES 3 Seymour TAGGERS in final the year before)

He'd carve you all like BUTTER........... He's as tough as they come, Don't sherk any issue, and is a TEAM player.
Has MORE taggers than Juddy & Benny, and a clothes shop for that matter.

He can run, TACKLE and Hit with the biggest.

Sorry, but I am a PROUD 'DAD'.
He reminds me of Benny;)...................Do you think he'l be proud of you pumping him up on here???

how does shaun feel about this 'PROUD DADDY'?

He feel's pretty good.
Actually, I show him EVERY post.

Contrary to MANY beliefs, he's NOT that bad.
As I said in a previous post "Jealousy is a Curse"

We all went through adolescence, PEER pressure.
You, (MABEY), As many in this debarkle, were young once. I myself was as well.
We ALL have been through a MISguided youth. (one way or another)
OR are you still running home to DADS place sooking 'cause he said this or she won't do that.
He is PROUD to KNOW that I LOVE the way he Play's the Game.
And also Knows that he LOVES playing the game WITH PASSION, and Committment to his TEAM.
NOT STATS, Or TOOL's in the 'OUTA' callin' him a PYGMIE, 'cause he has a HEART AS BIG AS ANYONE'S, and knows, He has the Ticker to put up with w***ers.

;)

Re: Official 18's GVFL Thread (part 2)

hence the reason he has ben suspended numerous times. ^^great ticker?. but can play the game and goodluck too hium at senior level

Re: Official 18's GVFL Thread (part 2)

The season is less than a couple of months away boys. How about we talk about a few teams' prospects for the 2009 season instead of focussing on one player. Let the actions do the talking.

Re: Official 18's GVFL Thread (part 2)

went to tat trainin the other day and saw young gun paul bugoss carving up the track and if anyone remembers paul bugoss he was a lazy fat boy but now after a big preseason paul bugoss has turned that fat into muscle and he is very fit and he will dominate the gv thirds this yr and my advice is to tag him each week and the best person to tag him from ky is will jackson

how are the echuca boys travelling they should be a fairly handy side again this year,

Yeah they should be pretty handy again. They may lose a few to rep footy through the year but I think they're keeping a fair number from their U16s side from last year.

Should be handy again with their best side on the park as the majority of lasts years side was bottom age. Could lose a few also to the senior side throughout the year. Good numbers already started pre season training with the senior group.

Re: Official 18's GVFL Thread (part 2)

euroa 3rd fellas saw the best numbers since joining the league, who got 32 people to first training session on monday. and all looked fit and well after the 2 hour fitness session. hopefully with these numbers can work toward notching up some competeive games and some wins!!:thumbsu:

Re: Official 18's GVFL Thread (part 2)

yeah ive heard they have got a few from shepp east in sullivan, turner, watt and robinson and a few notre boys in gooley, patone, o'sullivan, gook, lambert and a few more

Re: Official 18's GVFL Thread (part 2)

Patone is a freak I've heard.

Seen him play a bit, great kick, raking left footer, my view is that he goes missingduring games, given he has had a bugger of a run with injury and illness he needs to get fit and contribute over 4 quarters. Only saw him play GV thirds last year and he was an average player for both
Shepp and Swans. Who is he likely to sign with for this year?

Yeah he played U16s last year in SDJFL and played some 3rds games at the end of the season.

they will be ok dnt no if they will make finals but they will al mostly be bottom age i think a few from last year that played bottom bottom age but will be competive unlike last year

Patone is in Melbourne on a scholarship so the Bears wont have him. He was injured a lot last year so if he gets his body right he should improve his fitness levels.

Sullivan and Robinson are trying out at a few clubs, so no decision has been made there.
O S'ullivan has got glandular fever apparently so that will slow him up for a few weeks but is a good little player. Bit loose though, wont pick up his player. Lambert is a very good player on his day also, got cut from bushies last year and fell away after that with his school side. He is also tardy in watching his man when he played down back.

What about the other two clubs? Any news

Didn't see them train but Echuca thirds started atleast as early as last Monday (Australia Day). May have started earlier than that though.
