What am I looking at them for in this hypothetical scenario? Nothing is a self confessed doppelganger so I'm attempting to deduce who he might have picked to replace later in the game. If I were Nothing, I'd have possibly picked me because he's just a little bit obsessed with me.
If I were the doppelganger, I would have picked Raz as he was a monty to die really early having won the last two games. Nothing said he didn't do that, and his explanation is highly plausible unless he's going the risky reverse psychology route.
Previous doppelgangers have tried to vote their target out. Nothing voted for number 4 on the list, knowing he'd also get Chipmunks vote. Number 4 on the list has actually been evil the last few games I think so he might have been hoping for a bit of recency bias to help.

I thought my wincon was still final 4. I thought I had no chance of making final 4 so I thought I'd play as outed neutral. Now I discover that I will get an aligned wincon, I'm kind of exposed to the whims of all 4 different groups.

Did seem kind of a stupid strategy to claim when evil need to shoot you to win unless you picked one of them. They might shoot you early on the off chance you picked someone with a village role.

There are many seers available to non evil. We have a Town Drunk, JOAT and flog who can all seer me. I might even get a seer!
Final 4 with 25 players was never going to happen. I was expecting to be topped N1 or N2 this game, I thought (and still think) playing as outed neutral was my best chance.
It's clear that we lack info today, I expect that there will be a push at some stage by evil (that may have already happened). You had a nice little train start on you. There's a few trying to get traction on me now (I don't think that you are).
Village are up against it, anyone looking to take out players trying to help village should be looked at. We can't afford to lose anyone else.
Either that or we hit lurkers.

I'm inclined to leave him around for now. I lead a lynch on Horrie when he claimed a Doppelganger that had become a regular villager (he was actually that) to clean up the doubt around neutrals, and the village lost. There was no multi-lynch that game either and we couldn't recover from the numbers disadvantage it created.
I think we just have to hope for the best. We'll need a smidge of luck from this position.
